It was funny because it just came out of nowhere but it didn't have anything to do with his powers, so what is the deal with Tracy calling Hiro Pikachu? Is it just another example of the writers stupidity for even using that line thinking it would be funny, was it something that Ali Larter & Masi Oka just improvised between themselves, or is someone calling a Japanese person a Pikachu a new form of racial slur?

I think it was without a doubt a racial slur to Hiro.

No I think it is alluding to his eventual transformation into a Pokemon. Think about it, thats the most realistic guess.

Oh, lol gotcha Ace of Knaves. I also completely forgot that in the online Web Comics there is a story of Hiro being a sidekick to Kensi in a fairy tale story, and Hiro was drawn out as a Poke'mon character version of himself, it's quite a giggle if you look at it, lol.

Yeah just look in the graphic novels where the other Heroes stories are, it's there. Also I loved how Hiro got pissed when Tracy called him that, and I love the look on Daphine's face after the punch. Her face was all, "You got balls Hiro." lol

Why would a 35 year old Congressman's aide even know what Pokemon was?

Maybe he has kids? And kinda hard not to know what a pokeman is since they are just about everywhere

Tracy wasn't the first person to call Hiro Pikachu. Daphne called him Pikachu back in episode three of this season.

Alot of grown people know what Pokemon are. She would have been about 23 when they first got big over here in the US. Can you buy a 23 year old knowing what a Pokemon is?

it is possible for an adult to see an image or hear about a cartoon character?...hhmmm.

TOKYO (CNN) -- A Japanese television network called in doctors, psychologists and animation experts to find out why a popular cartoon triggered seizures in hundreds of children nationwide.

More than 700 people, mainly school children, were rushed to hospitals Tuesday after suffering convulsions, vomiting, irritated eyes and other symptoms after watching "Pokemon," a popular cartoon based on Nintendo's "Pocket Monsters" video game.

Two-hundred people, from age 3 to a 58-year-old man, were still in the hospital Wednesday with epilepsy-type symptoms more than 24 hours after the showing, the Home Affairs Ministry said.

The network said it plans to cancel next week's show if the cause of the incident remains unclear

perhaps hiro causes seizures.

I prefer the cartoon "Battling Seizure Robots."

Haha. That reminds me of the time when The Simpsons still was a funny show.
