Mods, please don't move this to the X-men forums. I want to see the IMO's of other movie viewers.
I didn't mind X3 at all I always thought X2 was the weakest link of the franchise.

because X3 sucked.

The movie itself didn't suck

but just with the other two it came up unbelievably short of expectaitions for a movie about X-men

It was a let down? yes, but I do't believe it sucks ether

I have no love for that movie...I've moved on...... X2 was the weakest link of the franchise...*shake my head*......the first two didn't live up to X-men movies...I wonder why people ran to see X3 the first weekend.....

X2 is a fine movie, it just has nothing to do with the comics, the characters aren't the same, it's like the writers thought Return of the Living Dead 2 was actually a good idea by bringing source characters, and flipping their roles, and characteristics around

X1 is a slow as paint drying movie, with no real action, and nothing exciting

X3 is just a summer action flick, fun, forgettable

X-men deserves better for films, they should be as good as the Spiderman's Batmans, V for Vendettas, and Sin City's, but those 5 inparticular comepletly dwarf the xmen movies on all levels

In my opinion X3 is fun, X2 is good, X1 sucks, and for what they all could be, they all suck.

because most ppl are sheep. the fact is X1 sucked worse.

X3 was the weakest X-Men movie to date. A rushed story, wasted characters, and cringe-worthy moments make this less than loved. I don't quite understand all the venom (it wasn't that bad), but I can't really say the movie was good, either.

Yeah, I think it was an enjoyable romp (much like my ex), but it was a bit of a let down considering the end of the second film. All that expectation, and what we got was Jean standing around looking as though she should be singing for Evenecense, and then going a bit mental at the end, whilst still standing around looking as though she should be singing for Evenecense.

I hate it because it was poorly directed and could have taken a different view.

No matter how bad I will ever think X3 is, I will still think X1 is worse cause it is boring, and X3 isn't, both movies have poor writting, plot, and character flaws, but X3 is just cooler than X1 is

in saying that, i think both movies are rough, with x3 being like 4-6/10, and X1 possibley being a 2

The one thing i hate about movies that make triologies, is that they sometimes change directors. I know Bryan Singer was tied up with supes, but he should have done it after that.

X-Men 2 was the best followed by X-Men 1 and The Last Stand.

I agree on the X3 being a good film, but I disagree about X2 being the weakest...X2 was the best, X3 in a close second, and X1 dragging behind in last with it's cookie cutter plot and the lack of depth in any of the characters...X2 built character for everyone, then X3 was the big action blowout where you dont really need to build any character cause you already know everyone...and people b**ch about them killing Cyclops like it was the writers and directors fault, when in reality it was cause Marsden was busy filming Superman Returns and couldnt do anything more than a short cameo appearance like he put in...

Disregarding what they did to some of the main characters, and that it once again was "The Wolverine Movie... oh yeah, and some other mutants are there as well":

It has very poor pacing (with enormously rushed direction at parts).
It lacks in character development (or even character motivation).
Mutants were introduced that were pointless (what was the point of the spiky dude for instance?), and the ones that had points were so criminally underdeveloped that they were reduced to nothing but cheap plot devices.
The story is unfocused, for instance... it starts with giving Angel a strong introduction only to basically drop him from 99% of the movie.
The dialogue is bad.
I usually love the music John Powell makes, but the music he did for this didn't sit right with me at all (except for the Phoenix theme).

and so on, and so forth...

'Cause it sucks. I also have "personal" grudge towards it.

I agree with you totally. And god has this been beaten to death with a nail and barbwire covered baseball bat. :ninja:

Although I did enjoy X1 too.

IMO X3 is one of the worst CB movies ever, and probably the most dissapointing thing to happen movie-wise in my life. Other than the fact it takes a **** on a lot of characters, it is just a poor movie in general. And who the HELL decided to make the 3rd movie of an epic trilogy 100 mins long? ****ing stupid and i hate Fox, Ratner, Kinberg, Penn, and Hugh Jackman takes some blame as well.

Oh and for people blaming SR for Cyclops cameo in X3, they actually discovered that they had a lot more time with him than they first anticipated, yet decided to not shoot more scene's. ****s.

X1 and X2 are great, X3 is garbage.

The movie itself, as a stand alone film, is good fun and watchable. As part of the X-Men franchise, it was rushed, clumsy and WAAY below the expectations that were built up by the end of X-2 and the second trailer that was released.
The main problems were the fact that they tried to cram too much into too shorter time, the effects came off as clumsy in parts because they were unfinished, certain characters were handled incorrectly, and the continuity from the first two films was non-existent. I could give quite a few examples of this, but I can't be arsed right now.
So, in conclusion, X3 is not a bad film, it just is if you class it as part of the trilogy, as it was well below the standards of the previous two.

I like when people pretend like X1 was masterpiece with it's forgettable action scenes and ******ed plot. :whatever:

the movie sucks. By that I mean that the story is fairly simple and derivative with barely any character arcs or development, not to mention adding in new characters that do nothing to enhance the movie and are not developed well at all. The effects are mostly good and entertaining. however, you know you have a problem when an hour and a half long movie feels longer than Pirates of the Caribbean 2. So not only does this movie suck on its own, but then it will inevitably be compared to its predecessors which actually were good, if not great movies.

Who's pretending it's a masterpiece? It has it's flaws like any other film.
