I've noticed that often threads for movies released a few weeks to a few months back and some upcoming movies have the same members continually go there regularly to talk about how bad it was or will be.
Why do they do it?
Why do they devote so much of their time to something they didn't like or are sure you will not like? (often really early, before footage or posters ect...)
It seems like a huge waste of time to me. I believe if you didn't like something then state why and move on, I see little benefit in rehashing the reasons over and over. I spent about a week in the section of a movie from last year I was disappointed in, once I stated my grievances & discussed it a little I moved on as it served no purpose to linger, that's what the majority of those who didn't like a movie do, they
Generally the majority, quite reasonably only occupy sections of movies they liked or loved and the upcoming ones from which they either are looking forward to or are cautiously interested in and leave the ones they didn't like alone the majority of the time.
__
I understand people's disappointments with movies and news regarding upcoming movies, fans have certain expectations and when things don't meet that they don't like them, but what can be done? no amount of complaining will change the movie, no amount of complaining will change upcoming movies, people complained about Ledger, how he was gonna be a terrible Joker, nobody seems to remember how that turned out and use it as an example not to judge to early.
