Why don't make a live action "Starfox/Starwing" Movie ?

live action !

It will be like Star Wars on Acid !

Imagine the scenes in space blowing up each other ! and some great live action puppets !

Come on !

I wanna see it made ! The original game on SNES was awesome! It would be an incredible movie !

I'd be up for a Starfor/Lylat Wars movie.. I think there is enough already there in the game to construct a good story for a film or set of films. Although IMO it could only be done in CGI.. something similar to the new Turtles film.

WTF kind of novelty is that? Make it live action. That's what makes these adaptations so special, a change of format.

This would be awesome if they played it totally straight. Like Battlestar Galatica expect everyone looks like Admiral Calamari! whatever the hell his name is . Don't even explain why one guy is a frog and the other is a cock. Also release it on 3D so all those meteors are flying right in your face! This movie would destroy heads, children and everyone.

I feel this. It could be totally cool, using the same level of puppettering tech they used on Ninja Turtles back in 1990 (TWENTY years ago), they could make some really realistically styled animals with some great gunplay action... the space fights would all be in vivid 3D anyway, so making live action animals would be no big, and it'd be something different, and I think it'd lend more towards something adults could truly enjoy taking their kids to go see...

And lets be honest, the Starfox story is pretty pure... it has a bold leader, it has the rivalry, it has love interests, it has father-son dynamics, military intrigue and overcoming one's past. Wise mentor, goofy smart kid, and more fun. Oh, and EPIC spacebattles with true teamwork. It'd be awesome to see.

This movie needs to be made now... the fun thing is, you could get the BEST physical guys in the suits and then the BEST voice actors to do the voices. Imagine Jet Li's moves under Mark Hamill's voice, or Tony Jaa's fury with Jim Cummings's brilliance? Ownage is unavoidable. People would eat it up... man, would they eat it up.

I still think it would be cool in CG but on second thoughts, live action would be cool (I mean I think I'm one of the few people who think Thundercats could be done in live action lol) but it would be pretty fun to see something like this (especially if it was done with 3D elements) done in live action because it doesn't really get done much these days..
