ok i wanted to bring up the point of Venom in Spiderman 4. I think Venom is definitely returning. My theory of this is simple. For those who saw Spiderman 3 come out the first night (the midnight sneak peek) you might notice a slightly different ending if you saw it for the second time later down the line. I saw Spiderman 3 twice of course the midnight sneak peek and later again. Well in the sneak peek (at least the one I saw) at the end where it looks like Venom dies we see the materializing pumpking bomb which turns into skeletons like in Spiderman 1. That's how I saw (supposedly) Eddie Brock die. When I went to go watch it again (maybe another version) there was no skeleton just the explosion. Has anyone else noticed this. I think Sony went and edited this part really quick for the sake of Venom's return looking more possible. Please give any thoughts or feedback to this....

I know your intentions are good, but that would be absurd for Sony to waste all that money just to edit out one part. Further more waste money to send out all new films for the theaters.

Its just isn't feasible, but hey, somebody said that "As it turns out I am not really dead at the end of spidy 3" So that could be enough speculation to see venom come back for what ever reason.

Lets face it, its a comic book movie. To say venom/eddie brock is dead is fine, but its wrong to say they cant bring him back to life.

Heres to Venom's return and a successful run as a main villain in a future spidy movie. Cheers.

This theory is absurd. No studio would ever do something like this because 1) It would be a gigantic waste of money. 2) It would reflect extremely pooly on their company.

Besides, I've seen it in theaters multiple times and the skeleton is always there. I'm not saying that Venom/Eddie Brock won't return (there's always a small chance), but the basis of your theory is just ridiculous.

It takes about a month to create new film stocks and to ship them all out to 10,000 theaters all over again. Sorry, that would be impossible.

You forget that Norman Osborn was also in the movie, and if it is true that a villain from SM3 is coming back,it could be him.

I've seen it 3 times. Just yesterday for the third, and the skeleton is ALWAYS there.

Eddie may return, maybe he bonded with the symbiote enough for him still to exist. But the skelton theory is bogus.

The actor that may have said "I'm not really dead at the end of Spidey 3" could have been James Franco as well.

wow really?? I must've went A.D.D. at the end when I went the second time but I could've sworn that there was no skeleton. Damn now I might have to see it for a third time to make sure. By the way are you guys in the US or no???

If he is coming back, then it looks like they want to make the spidey franchise a Batman and Robin type of movie.

Why does everybody keep forgetting that an actor who died in Spider-Man 3 could come back? Norman died in Spider-Man 1, not 3, and Franco confirmed Spider-Man 3 would be his last in the franchise.

If Raimi is back (and I hope to God he is and Tobey and Kirsten too for one more to wrap up the love story and film the wedding) I can garuntee Venom won't be back. I think Lizard is a better villain, Sam has hinted to it, Avi has hinted to it, Dylan Baker has hinted to it and Stan Lee has hinted to it.

It makes sense. Then when the studio continues with 5, 6 and how many others they do, they can bring Venom back and use Carnage and all that stuff. I think though, let Raimi use who he wants and stick to just Lizard and hopefully add Kraven with a hint of KLH sprinkled in (mostly the burial scene and Kraven's origins) to make what could be a movie up on par with SM2.

After that sure, bring in Carnage. After 4 (possibly after 3, now) creative and artistic endeavours will end and it will become a studio by-product like X3 was. I just hope we get one more really good Spidey movie that wraps up the last loose thread from SM3 well and features my favorite villain (Lizard), done justice.

We don't have any proof that someone even did say that in the first place.

um... i saw SM3 in the theaters about a week after it's release and I still saw a skeleton...

Yeah, but they wouldn't say which actor which kinda makes you think there lying about the whole thing.

Exactly! What is the big secret about who supposedly said it if it's as obvious as everyone claims??

It's BS! Venom is dead. And if Raimi is back for Spider-Man 4, you can bet he'll probably do an announcement at the start of the movie stating that he's dead :oldrazz: :woot:

Where's the member with the link in his sig that takes you to a WONDERFULLY written post explaining why Venom won't return? I believe it was written by Eddie Brock Jr. on the boards...

And sorry man, I think your eyes are playing tricks on you. I saw it again so I could SEE the skeleton because I missed it the first time (it was like 2 in the morning, I was tired) and I saw the skeleton the second time.

well i have a friend yes a friend and i know what you guys are already going to say but anyway he saw no skeleton.

so that confirms it i will go see it again just for the sake of the skeleton and cuz I haven't seen it in IMAX yet so i can get a clear view of it. thanks for your thoughts guys

I know, my friend said the same thing. It was 2 in the morning, nobody was in complete focus, especially after 2 and a half hours of staring at the screen. You miss little details like the skeleton in that situation.

And if the reporter actually said the name of the actor, then the reporter would be quoting the actor, and if the actor said no such thing, then that actor could sue. That's why I don't believe this rumor is true.

No. Nothing has changed. You just think they did. The End.
