I'm betting we will, but it will be a tease in every sense of the word. Probably just a really quick shot from behind him at the very end or something. Or maybe a shot of the symbiote starting to take over Brock (like moving up his arm or something, but cutting away before we see him actually become Venom.). But I can guarantee you they won't reveal his face for a very long time.

Well as secretive as they're trying to be, if you work for the studio in any position then at some point you're bound to catch a glimpse of something that people on the outside don't get to see. And the Q&A also described it as a costume/prosthetics as opposed to CGI. I for one believe it and am thrilled by it. I have yet to be totally fooled by a CGI creature in any movie. It just never looks real to me (no, not even Gollum). I'd rather see a really good costume job over CGI any day, even if there are more limitations to it.

However - CGI would still look more realistic than puppetry, if that's how they're going to be doing Venom. Next, on "Spider-Man 3": the Symbiote takes a trip down Sesame Street!

Well I believe Venom is gonna be a suit combined with prosthetics, not a puppet or an animatronic. But If they chose to go down that route, it would still look more realistic than CGI. Of course Gremlins doesn't look totally perfect, it was made in the 80's! Technology has come a long way. Just look at the werewolves from Underworld. That was a suit combined with animatronics, and those things looked scary real.

Spidey will need the suit to defeat Sandman and who ever the other villian is (I would like it to be Electro, Topher seems like he could fit that role). As the movie progresses the suit will slowly take Peter over, he will wanna get rid of the suit but he wont know how for most of the movie. Ironically without the suit he would surely lose the fight in this movie, Sandman alone is almost to much, he will finally get rid of the suit at the end of the movie which will set things up for part 4. So in a way we get Venom in this movie and the next.

I'm strongly in the belief that Sandman is the main villain, Harry is the minor, annoying villain, and Topher is Eddie. Not Electro. Other than completely unbased rumours, there's no evidence that Electro will be in the film or that Topher will be playing him. Topher's gonna be Venom.

I agree that Sandman will be the main villian. I'm not saying Topher wont be Eddie, but I wouldnt mind if they threw the fans a curve ball and put somebody like Electro in the movie, a character that has had no rumors of being in the movie. Sandman and Electro just seem like they fit together. I just think Topher would be a better Electro than he would be Venom. If he is Eddie I really dont care. But i thought it was confirmed that Topher was gonna be the other villian in this movie, if thats the case and then Peter's not gonna be wearing the Black suit for that long if Topher is Venom.

I'm not saying he wouldn't be a "villian" just that he wouldn't be THE bad guy of the movie. It's kinda hard to explain exactly what I mean when i'm typing it out. He wouldnt be a villian robbing backs or killing people like Doc Ock and GG, there would be no real reason why Spidey needs to take him down besides the fact that Eddie/Venom hates him. It would be like a cop throwing you in jail for no reasonm, comitting no crimes,throwing you in jail just because you hate cops. Do you kinda guess what I'm saying.
