Seriously, Why is it so slow? I have highspeed internet connection. I have no problems with other sites but it takes me anywhere from 15 mins to a half hour just to get to a point where I can post something. And this is a everyday thing that's been going on for months now.
I don't know if it's a matter of maintenance or a problem with the server but something really needs to be done about it.
Am I the only one having problems with Hype being slow? Is anything being done to fix the problem?
Please mods, Don't just close this and ignore the problem. I seriously would like an answer.
Glad to see another long time poster of the forum is concerned about this problem. I took a lot of long breaks from the forum in the past year and a half but about a month and a half ago I started coming around more. I've noticed that in that time it's practically almost impossible to navigate the boards like normal.
There are times when I'm lucky and I get to read some posts and even engage in some of the conversations, however, it's very difficult to navigate through my regular boards. I even am posting on boards, like the comic book boards, that have very low traffic going into them.
Today it doesn't seem like the problems are so bad. However, I would have like fifty extra posts in the past month and have been able to join a lot of fun discussions that, quite honestly, I was looking forward to engaging in.
If this problem persists I, unfortunately, will just call it quits here and just stick to the CBR forums, where there is just as much traffic and I've never EVER had a problem with lag time or, heck, writing a long post and just have it lost.
I sincerely hope that this is something that gets fixed because this has been a fun forum for many years and I'd hate to just call it quits.
