Legend of Zelda Wii 'TP' To Be "Mirror Image" Of 'GC' Version

I'll be playing Twilight Princess left handed. On account that I'm a lefty.

BUT WON'T THAT BE HARD TO DO, WITH THE 'WII' CONTROLLER, AND A FLIP-FLOPPED SCHEME?

But don't they give you the option to play right or left.

Hmm, this makes me want to play both versions. Although I'll probably wait awhile before buying the gamecube version.

Interesting, this may make both versions worth playing for some, since it'll now be a totally different experience.

Plenty of things wrong with that article... even the opening sentence. Link has always been a lefty, but due to earlier tech issues, when Link switched sides, you were just seeing the same side but Link himself was flipped... so sometimes he'd be right, sometimes he'd be left.

The mirror was for the demo only. Reason being, the change in Link's hand was last minute before the conference. They rebuilt some of the demo and it's not an exact mirror of the GC version.

Also, the Wii Remote can be held in either hand, but it won't change Link's hand positioning. Although I think there should've been an option from the start. If there were more time, I'm sure there would've been. :csad:

THANKS FOR CONFUSING ME FURTHER. :csad::up:

Oh, the first part I was talking about 80's Link on the NES...

I'm only playing the Wii version so I don't care.

The article seems suspicious to me too. Mirroring a whole game?? Flipping everything over? Just because the sword will be in a different hand? Doesn't make sense.

Smells kinda' fishy. Ain't on ign or gamespot either. I mean THE ENTIRE GAME IS FLIPPED? So what they intended to be one thing they completely flipped over? I really don't think it is all that disorienting and I guess we'll know in November for sure (or December when the Gamecube version comes out then).

IGN's now confirmed the news.

This is incredibly inane. I'll be playing the game as it was originally intended by the designers, on the GC.

Oh my god you take a left instead of a right! NOOOOOES! :e(

 :whatever:

I personally would prefer to play it as orginally inteded by designers instead of it all flip=flopped....but since I really like the idea of playing it with the Wii controller and I'm getting a Wii when it comes out anyway (a month before the Gamecube version) I'll probably just buy that version anyway then.

Do you honestly think they care that instead of making a right you make a left? That stuff is just insignificant. It's not like they're taking out dungeons or puzzles.
