Don't know who the people are who does the voices for this movie. I even don't know it from the cartoons.

Rob Paulson is a God. He's in every friggin' cartoon in existance.

All we know is that Mako is playing Splinter.

Munroe says the current VA's for the newest animated series are not in the movie.

I think IMDB once said that Quinton Flynn is playing Casey Jones.

At SDCC Kevin Munroe said the voices ARE NOT the ones from the toon and they'll be announced within a month or so.

Mako was going to be Splinter. Unfortunately he died the day after it was announced. It's a damn shame, he'd have been perfect for Splinter:( :(

Even if it wasn't announced, it probably wouldn't happen anyway b/c of schedule conflicts. They probably just used the VA from the toon for Mike's one line in the trailer.

The cartoon voices are cool but I want something new for the movie. I wish they could use Josh Pais for Raph he was the voice for the first movie. He also was the only one to wear the turtle costume and provide the voice for his character and if you watch the movie again the passenger in the cab is Josh Pais.

That statement makes me laugh. But I someone agree. I never liked Raph in the new cartoons, the movies, or the comics. He was too rough around the edges. Paulson gave him with and sarcasm. He didn't sound generally mean, just a smart ass. That made him a better character in my opinion.

Does anybody know how well-known the voice cast is going to be?

Kevin said there wouldn't be any big-name celebs.

Oh okay. I don't see why they shouldn't just the animated series' cast then.

I would hate for that to happen leave them for the cartoons. Lets get some new voices for the movie.

The old 80's cartoon had the best voicecast ever IMO next to "BTAS." :)

I really wish we would get Josh Pais for Raph and Elias Koteas for Casey. But alas, I don't think there is a chance for that, so I'm looking forward to seeing whoever is really cast.

You obviously don't read any of my posts.

He had already done the recordings for Splinter. His voice-over was used for the footage at Comic Con.

I heard there COULD be an issue if Munroe wanted some more looping or more dialogue. For the most part, mako was pretty much done with the VO.

They still used Jim Varney as the cook in Atlantis even though he passed away before they finished the movie.

Also, Munroe mentioned that they used multiple VA's in the room for the recordings.

I'm dissapointed that the VA's are not the ones from the cartoon. They just fit so perfectly. :/ I hope they sound at least CLOSE to the same.

When I first heard the voices during the footage I thought it was the VA's from the new series.

Ralph and Leo specifically sounded like the VA's from the new show.

Your post here didn't indicate he had finished his VO work for the movie.

Is the James Avery a different man from the dad in "Goodtimes"?

I didn't watch Goodtimes, so I'm not sure about that, but I do know that James Avery was the dad on Fresh Prince of Belair...Uncle Phil I think it was...
