Will we see Dr. Doom in any clips before the movie is released?

the person that designed that Doom, i hope they fall off a cliff.

watch them end up doing Spidey 4 and giving us something like this:

OMG......that is soooo cute.......I want that for an avvy......awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww......

I love it!!!! That photo of Doom is in classic pose....the cloak, the overall look...I think it is incredible....

Well I love the idea behind it, but I'm not sold on the delivery. It's good enough that I'm not going to whine or fuss about it. It's just that the production art that we saw for this design was beyond awesome (in my opinion, at least) and this with the rubber arms and the doom-nipples just doesn't do it for me. It's serviceable, but whatevs.

Well GS, if you are happy.....I'm happy.......:woot:

Holy hell...he looks even worse than he did in the other photo. Do I see nipples?

What do you think Albafan? Do you like it?

Well its hard to tell with that picture, its not great quality. I'm hoping we get a better look on May 21st, so I'll wait and let ya know then....:cwink:

Nipples? No...if you remember that sketch that came out months ago, the Romanesque chest plate (think 300) has two serpents looking at each other...I think its quite cool.

Waiting for May 21st, I hope we get some more from doom

Ooh I really don't like the look of Doom there, tell me those aren't nipples on the chest plate!

Those are not nipples. I think they're the pawns of the gryphons on the chestplate.

I think you're right....

I HATE BAD QUALITY pics, and then the speculation that comes with looking at a very bad pic......its annoying....:o

I can't believe I'm saying that, but I prefer the Doom from a first Movie by a mile over this.

But seriously, how hard is it to bring this costume to life?

Let's not over react to this BAD shot - the one that Fox had taken down a few weeks ago looked much better than this one. And while I do wish for something closer the the classic comic version, I think it's a step in the right direction from what we had in the first movie. In some respects, it's a more like what wore in FF#5 [mask, gloves, boots were metal, the rest was cloth], remember he did not get the full armor until #6.

I wish Fox would release an official photo so we can judge that, and not these inferior frame grabs.

You mean, so we can analyze the hell out of it, and tear it to shreds before the movie, and totally have our minds made up to hate it before we walk in the front doors.............

I think it is even worse than the custome of Doom from the first movie, and that one was bad enough.

Can't anyone get Doom right, for once?

I think they should try avoid making Doom's costume look "cooler" with gimmicky stuff like fancy gloves and chest plates and try keep things more minimalistic and realistic, as they did with Doom's costume in FF1. They're seem to be heading down the dangerous Batman 3 and 4 route with villain's costumes. I personally think Magneto's costume, particularly from X2 and X3, is a good example of how to adapt a comic book outfit and make it work on screen.

I think Spider-Man and now, IRON MAN, are good examples of turning a comic book design into a workable movie design. I am sure Doom could have looked much more like the comic book Doom, IF they had wanted him to.

It all comes down to having some faith in the source material.

Is this for real? Because it looks very sucky.
