you guys do remember that norman, after being killed similarly to the way he was in SM1, comes back to life, right? the goblin serum keeps him alive and he comes back with that huge scar on his chest.

Raimi seems to be a fan of the classics. The old classics, I mean. Stan Lee, Gerry Conway era, things like that.

Somehow I don't see it happening. It's too modern. Hell, I'm still surprised as hell that he's even introducing Eddie Brock.

Well in the comics, the list of main villians of Spidey's who have died and come back to life is pretty surprising.

- Green Goblin 1
- Doc Ock
- Sandman
- Venom (The character itself, Brock is dead but the symbiote lived on)
- Jackel

So it's entirely possible for Raimi to use those ideas from the comics in the film.

The only other guys are Mysterio (in Raimi was being literal), Norman, or Ock... the other guys people are mentioning... even Lizard... are nothing more than side villains... Maybe they'll get together a Sinister 3... Sandman, Ock, Venom... Venom BSes Sandman... Ock gets taken out by GG2... SPidey finishes Venom... not gonna happen but it's going to be either Mysterio, Lizard, Ock, or Norman... we just have to play the elimination game...

I'd love to see Norman come back b/c Dafoe turned in an excellent performance, imo, in the first movie. That's not to say I think it'll happen, though. My cash is on some minor villain making a brief appearance, or possibly setting up for the fourth movie of Arad's 9 part series.

I wouldn't mind that. Throughout the movie he does that and it just makes him go crazy on Spider-Man. Then at the end he realizes what he has done and helps SM.

But if this happend. How would they kill off Norman again? Maybe Sandman or Venom kills him and Harry as GG or HG goes biserk on them helping Spider-Man. In doing so Harry is killed in the process. or we get some emotional ending where harry gets to tell his father goodbye.
