Harry using Original Green Goblin Costume?

almost like that. I mean harry not being the GG is not goingt too far off from the comics because harry's story in spidey3 is the same as in the comics.

Except thats hes not the Green Goblin in the movie, which is changing his character and story. If Norman got a sword in the movie, all it would do would just be adding a weapon to his arsenal and not changing his character.

true but as for changing harrys story, I don't think it would do that. all it would be doing is changing the suit.

Being the Green Goblin was part of who he was and his story.
By not making him the Green Goblin in SM3, it changes his character and story.

I see, but in spidey3 it doesn't change what harrys motive is which is to kill peter parker though in the comics he wanted to fufill his fathers legacy. now i the films harry wants to just kill peter, in the comics he wants t do the same and fufill his fathers legacy, but now they changed his costume so now he just wants to kill peter. In my opinion atleast.

I do admit it does. but there are still aspects from harrys story in comics that will be in spidey3 so atleast not everything will be change or else that would be bad.

the only thing I have to say is that harry's story is preety much the same in terms of dieing a hero and avenging his fathers death but he doesn't have the goblin costume which only changes the goblin legacy thing.

Which then brings into question the fact that would people get upset or be fine with Flint Marko wearing a pair of board shorts and a white tank top with sneakers? Costumes tell a lot about the character...that is why they spend so much freaking time on them. They are suppose to be a sorts of homage to the original source material. But when you through that source material out the window and invent a Military Grade Snowboarding Ninja...then things get a little out of hand. A lot of people hated GG1's costume...at least it resembled a goblin. And topping off the 'lets ruin Harry' decision, calling him New Goblin or Night Surfer just further butchers what Stan Lee and Ditko created 40 years ago. I just don't get it, Raimi has been nearly spot on perfect IMO with every other character so far and with Venom and Sandman. I think Harry just got pushed to the back burner with Raimi's favorite, Sandman, and the fan's favorite, Venom.

well sure costumes tell alot about somebody. I mean spideys suit represents and shows everybody who spider-man is. you do have to understand though that comic book films don't stay true to their comic counterpart in the best fashion. I mean sure comic book films stay true to comics but not 110%. now I know had a chance to wear the goblin suit but it's not the worst thing and in fact, I'm not upset about it because I love harrys suit.

I really doubt that Harry will take the orignal goblin suit into the final battle, we'd prob have heard something by now or there would be an action figure of him in the old suit besides the one in this link, Also it seems strange that Raimi would state that Harry was not a Goblin if he was to become one.....

I'm glad they didn't put him back into his father's costume, once he retracts the mask (I'm not fond of the mask), to me it's a better suit. I hated the original suit from head-to-toe, Goblin mask or not, it was horrid.

Yup. This time around he's going to look like the Snowboarder from Dimension X. Will he even be referred to as the Green Goblin? Who knows. Either way, this character is screwed, and I'll just be looking forward to what else this movie has to offer.
