Eh, it's all part of the job. I remember being pranked good and often as a probie.

I wasn't discrediting them at all but sometimes EMT's/paramedics do save a lot of lives too and I feel sometimes we aren't given enough credit and respect for it. Funny enough I wanted to do Nursing but couldn't get into it. But you're right, without nurses,we'd be at a loss. They know how to take care of the patients a lot more than we do.t:

IMO the respect you get or credit you get comes from knowing that you've done a good job. It's better imo to get a pat on the back from myself knowing I put my best foot forward no matter the outcome of the call/patient. Sometimes even with your best effort things go south.

The doctors and nurses that appreciate you do so because they know you do good work and are honest and thorough. Keep up the positive effort and eventually they'll catch on to that and you'll be noticed. I've come across both Doctors, Nurses and even other Medics or Firefighters that are just too pinheaded to know that others make a difference. No one of us is better than the other...it's a team effort. We all need to be there for success.

Are you on an ambulance crew or something else? I know you're in Ireland. Not sure how they run things there.

I just deleted 46 posts in the last two pages there that were about Raimi's Spider-Man movies, Superman movies, the next 2 Amazing Spider-Man movies, and general stupidity......we have made repeated posts in there to stop that, there have been dozens of infractions the last week given in there over it....and people still can't get it.

Yeah, we had this beautiful thread for a long time but no one uses it. Instead General Discussion was basically our lounge.

It is disheartening that people can not follow the rules.
