Well worth it indeed! It's incredible that you got to meet 'the man' face to face and talk with him directly. It must have been a rush. Of course, if you're like me, you probably kinda felt like you knew him anyway, after the years of off and on chattin'.

you know...it was weird at first when i met him. but soon it felt like i was talking to one my old friends about GR. really tripped me out...heh
the guy is so down to earth...and very polite.
some funny stuff....when he called my name at the start of the show he joked "you're not that big at all!" lol...i guess he was a bit disappointed that i wasnt a 7' tall sumo wrestler. ...im only 5'11" so i guess using the name BIGGUN could be labeled as false advertising. it was pretty funny...
-i told him that even though i loved the clip..i STILL didnt like the goth girl scene...heh. he laughed and said he was gonna wait until i had a few beers and then get me to log in here and make a statement where i now think the scene was great.
-Be warned folks...Mark is a master at table soccer. the dude has some serious mad leet skillz. i didnt even dare try to challenge the guy....wayyy out of my league.

-almost forgot..Mark told me that the police chief that tells his squad to fire on GR is none other than Capt. Gerard Dolan...father of Stacy D...girlfriend of Dan K.

Yeah, the names on here are all about false advertising. I mean, I really don't have a flaming head....

Foos ball eh? Interesting. I used a play a lot of that game once apon a time, though I was no where near good at it. Mark would definitely embarrass the hell out of me, if he's as good as you say he is. Of course, a Gerbil could probably do the same.

Capt. Dolan eh? Extreamly exciting update BG! I have a feeling that we'll see a lot of little throw outs like that in the movie. DD was peppered with all kinds of goodies like that and I'm sure he'll do the same for this. Maybe more. I mean, if there are characters in the comics that could play the minor roles, then why the hell not use them right?

as you guys can see from the front page MSJ is set to write the pilot for the Preacher series on HBO.
funny thing is if any of you were at the con Mark gave out these bits of info:

* Johnson said he has a project in the works with HBO, but he couldn't talk about it until the deal closes.

* Asked what DC Comics character he would like to work with, Johnson said Preacher.

he gave out the news right under our noses and we didnt even know it. you should be working for the government Mark...hah!
