Computer has been running slow lately. Long story short, my task manager says that the Netgear process WN133B.exe is using over 95% of my CPU. Any ideas on how to fix this?

I've got Windows 7 64bit. My virus software comes up empty and I perform regular maintenance on my machine.

when you deactivate it, what happens? netgear sounds like a router or something

Probably windows update installed a "new, improved" driver that's causing the problem. You might be able to fix it by doing a system restore back to a time when the machine was working properly. If not you'll have to search around in device manager, look for network adapters, netgear, and try to rollback the driver.
