Wolverine and Sabretooth

How are they playing/are going to play out the Sabertooth encounter in the movie?

cause in the first xmen when xavier is explaining to wolverine why he is in the mansion he was attacked by sabertooth he scoffs and doesnt know who sabertooth is.

i was thinking they played the sabertooth character before he has the adimantium injected in him where he doesnt remember what happened before that but according to the trailer he has metal claws when he says im going to try cutting you in half and see if that works.

how does he not remember sabertooth from that point to the point of the xmen movie which he is oblivious to all the mutants groups and powers and nicknames he makes fun of storm and cyclops and calls xavier Wheels. thats whats got me scratching my head.

its not gonna be in sequence with the past xmen movies.

I am not too sure if they are trying to keep things completely inline with all the previous movies but i was hoping they did
