Comics Wolverine and the X-Men Trailer

WOW,

This cartoon has exceeded all my expectations. The dialogue is incredibly mature, characters seem pretty spot on, animation is good, premise is very good. No warm up, it looks like it gets straight into the mix of things.

I do have to say it isn't the best wolverine voice they've had, they should have gotten the dude from evolution to voice it.

It looks like the whole 'wolverine and the x-men' idea is just a name and he isn't actually going to lead them, but rather just stick them together. It looks like it'll be one helluva ride...

I hope the violence aspect of it is good though, don't want no kiddie violence but with the level of dialogue, it could be a chance.

I wish it was in line with evo since it shows an adult rogue with shorter hair in it.

I would whine so much more than I did in the past about the title of this series, but I'm massively distracted by Storm's hair. You could bounce a dime in that...urgh.

Anyway, another X-Men series I will be massively into! I just hope it's not too much Wolverine. And Rogue's invisible hair is annoying.

storm will probably go through an image change during the series, the big hair will probably represent her not being in action so often, so she'll change it to go with her new atitude towards the recruitment of the x-men.

Ok, I can vaguely understand the perturbance(sP?) at Storm's big round poofball but honestly, how is anybody annoyed by Rogue's hair?Yeah, you can see through the white! Big deal! Hair isn't necessarily a solid block of mass and considering it's just a layer of bangs, I'm surprised she's not drawn that way more often!

This Wolverine is the same guy who's voiced the character in the unofficial video games - Legends, Legends 2, and Ultimate Alliance. He's a good Wolverine voice that fits the character.

But yeah, he's not exactly the guy who voiced Evolution Wolverine, is he? Scott McNeil (EvoWolvie) rocks. He's from Beast Wars.

Ikno its the same guy but the pitch of his voice or something sounds strange

He sounds the same as he did in Ultimate Alliance.

Scott McNeill was from Beast Wars. But Steven Blum is Spike Spiegel from Cowboy Bebop.

I am now torn. Spike, or Rattrap/Dinobot/Silverbolt/someoneelse?

Oh man. I'm having a crisis of faith.

I tlooks like a weird amalgamated sequel of the movies and evolution, doesn't it? Jean is dead, Summers is a bum, Rogue seems to be evil... it looks promising... as long as they get Ororo to a hairdresser it'll be alright.

I am looking forward to this and the animation looks really good. YES! Iceman is in it. :woot:

great preview...solely on the merit that the foo fighters "best of you" dominated the second half of it. the animation looks cool, the costumes rock (a more classic look than evolution) and an interesting concept, xavier and jean disappear, possibly dead, the x-men are disbanded, rogue leaves for the brotherhood, cyclops is broken, the mansion is destroyed, feels like a story right out of the comic books. quicksilver looks badass. i loved that part where wolverine just says "your sons a mutant, deal with it" and "good talk" made me laugh

I wish Cyclops was in Wolvies role. I feel that he would fight to keep them together more than Wolvie would.

cerealkiller182. Look at the comics. Scott called it quits after he thought Jean died. He married a Jean lookalike, had a kid and started working an average joe job.

LOL, he's got you there.

AAMOF, if Jean wouldn't have changed his mind at the end of "Here Comes Tomorrow", there would be no X-men.

I think Cyke needs a vacation.:woot:

I know, hes just been quitting so often lately. The movie, the end of Messiah complex and now this. Cyke cant catch a break.

I don't think he quit in Messiah Complex, I think he disbanded the "X-Men" which is something different, since he is still working with the kids and stuff, right?

I may have misinterpreted it. Mypoint is i want to see Cyclops in a strong leadership role. He kinda had one in Evolution.

dont forget that he quit at the end of Planet X as well. He also disbanded the X-men in the Ultimate Universe, but at least continued on with the school

Summers is such a wuss, as soon as something bad happens he disbands the X-Men or he quits... and he is supposed to be the great leader of the X-Men? Let's see how many times he quitted:

a) When Charles "died" (around Uncanny 42)
b) When Jean died (uncanny 138 he quit)
c) When Ororo defeated him in a duel (uncanny 201)
d) When Nathan was sent to the future he disbanded X-Factor (around uncanny 280
e) When he got a bomb on his chest (X-Men 70)
f) Just because he felt sad about what Apocalypse had done to him (Weapon Plus)
g) When Charles got shot (Messiah Complex)

And that's just in the 616 verse... the movieverse version is even more pathethic... What an inspiring leader the X-Men have

looks like gambit is sitting this one out again. kinda feel sorry for his fans: wasnt in the movies, had a few cameos in Evo, and has been treated like crap in the comics for awhile now.

I can not wait for this to air, hoping that WB kids picks it up. i used to have a problem with the title but not anymore, the show looks freaking cool and everyone looks so f'ing bad ass in it (definatly Rogue!!!!!) All of the voice cast sound good to me, scott's voice reminds me of TAS (which had the best voice cast)
the show looks a hundred times better than evo since its not so childish looking and has a lot of explosion and fight scenes (which only makes the show better in some cases) and has a decent PLOT.

You'd think that in a show mainly about Wolverine they'd want an X-Man who clashed a bit with Logan. Which Gambit always has, in his own way.

Instead we're getting Emoclops and a bunch of people who'll treat Wolvie as their leader/mentor/savior.
