I wish Cyclops was in Wolvies role. I feel that he would fight to keep them together more than Wolvie would.

That man needs some time for himself, this was his wife/lover got killed, he will be ready when he's ready, and I'm glad he blasted Wolverine out of the house, that guy needs to learn some manners, try knocking first next time.

You'd think that in a show mainly about Wolverine they'd want an X-Man who clashed a bit with Logan. Which Gambit always has, in his own way.

Instead we're getting Emoclops and a bunch of people who'll treat Wolvie as their leader/mentor/savior.

No clue about continuity, but I'll definitely pass this one up. I'm sick of the "Wolverine is God" crap Marvel has been putting out as it is, and they've just made it worse by killing Jean (completely unnecessary) and making Cyke useless.

Tell that to your friends. This cartoon is just basically promotion for the Wolverine movie. Any old time X-Men reader knows that Wolverine does not lead a team,he stays in the shadows.

Scott is a guy about control, but if he goes so far as suppress his feelings about this one that would be too ridiculous imo.

Besides, the title is 'Wolverine and the X-Men', one of this cartoon's main purposes is to pimp Wolverine, so he must have all the glory, when he's absolutely not the leadership type.

I kind of want to count how many seconds left from this trailer if you cut off all the scenes of Wolverine's.

I doubt they'd include BOTH Cyke and Emma if they don't plan on them having a leadership position. Kinda ruins the point of both characters, eh.

I'm thinking Xavier and Jean are going to be back a lot quicker than people think. The series kicks off with a 90 minute premiere, which (I am almost positive) is what the preview is comprised of. Beast says that Xavier was attacked, so it probably ties in with Wraith. So, I would imagine that the two are not dead, just teleported or taken hostage (evil plot that requires the need of a telepath?)

The preview even shows Wolverine beating Wraith, so I would assume that the premiere shows all this and has the X-Men disband and come together again so that the entire series can now focus on them rebuilding and their clashes with each other.

Xavier has been seen in promotional images (without his wheelchair, might I add) and Jean Grey seems to big of a character in the mythos to be discarded. I'm seeing a love triangle sort of thing going on with Cyclops, Jean, and Emma.

^^^^^^I sure hope so. I hope its revealed that Jean and Xavier arent dead. I thin the whole season will play off with them defiently dead and if tehy do return, it wont be till the sdeason finale

And to respond to another post... I seriously doubt Chuck and Jean will be back by the Premiere's closing scene. What's the point of pushing Wolvie as the guy who puts them back together if they're back so soon?

Concept art doesn't mean a whole heck of a lot. There's also nothing that says Jean and Xavier are killed immediately, right in the beginning of the premiere episode. And there's nothing that says there can't be some small amount of flashbacks explaining history, which could explain wheelchair-less Xavier concept art.

But oh no, that's right. There's concept art of Xavier not in a wheelchair, so clearly this means he will not only be supposedly killed and then reveal he was not really dead, but will regain the use of his legs too. Because when they make animated series, as was proven with Evolution, they totally rehash everything that has ever been done in the comics. Yes, that is sarcasm.

I enjoy morbidly this aimless speculation. More, now! Thy king commands it.
