X-Men Evolution? Your serious?

Evolution was an incredible show. Leaps and bounds better than the 90's animated series.

Evolution was a well crafted cartoon. I would be happy if the new Wolverine 'toon was done just as well and by the same people.

I watched a few episodes. One episode that really turned me off was when Wolverine was fighting Sabretooth. The entire fight was Sabretooth throwing cars at Wolverine.

Yeah, but they did a good job with Beast and Gambit. :)

well, x-men evolution was 1 of the finest cartoons ever cuz

  • the x-men were teenagers there.
  • there costumes were gr8 !!
  • the etchnology of teh cartoon was gr8!!
its way superioir 2 the 90's acrtoon.

as far as wolverine acrtoon is concerned, lets see. i think it'd eb better than x-men evolution. :woot:

Marvel Entertainment has contacted an Indian animation firm, First Serve Toonz, to develop a 26 episode cartoon series. The series will be mainly based on Wolverine according to Variety.com

^^ From http://www.**************.com/news/articles/2360.asp

Well i havnt even heard of First Serve Toonz!! Wat cartoons did they make?

Evolution was alright. But when it sucked, it sucked hard.

I enjoyed Evolution. But the parts I didn't enjoy, I didn't enjoy alot more than I could've ever not enjoyed something I didn't enjoy from the previous X-men series. It started off sucky, but got much much better. However, it wasn't flawless.:)

i'M NOT MISTAKEN - YOU ARE, CUZ THE AMJORITY OF PPL HERE LUV EVOLUTION!! :o :yay:

Maybe in the Wolverine forum, but not in the forums in general. There was a poll a while back on the best X-men cartoon, and Evolution got raped pretty badly. I didn't mind it, but quite a few people on the hype seem to dislike it fairly heartily.

well, 2 each his/her own views. :oldrazz:

If anyone think the Evoultion cartoon was superior to the 90`s X-Men cartoon then they are either too young to remember it,or are use to the poor quality of cartoons these days.X-Men:TAS,was the best cartoon to portray the X-Men.As adults, not blasted teenagers.:trans:

Well...you do know the X-men started off as teenagers. What's wrong with showing them as teens first.

I saw this sketch of him as one :ninja: i didn't like it

I liked Evolution a lot. Not more than TAS, but I liked it for the new generation of X-Fans. It took a new direction while still being loyal(the majority of the time) to the characters. The biggest complaint I can understand and partially agree with was there was no Cyclops/Jean/Wolverine triangle but I didn't mind that.

Just finished season 1 of Evolution. I may be biased, but not one aspect of it compares to any of the DCAU shows. Watching an episode of Batman Beyond right after makes Evolution look like a joke.

It's pretty entertaining, I'll give it that, but for some reason everything in the Timm shows were just so well-executed, the biggest being the voice acting, most of which is simply horrible in Evolution.

Wolverine AND the X-men  That's just wrong.
You can think Bryan Singer for this, for that is what he has started with the X-Films. They're just following suit.

I've been a Marvel fan first for a long time, but I have to admit that the DCAU shows were mostly superior to all the Marvel cartoons.

It's very much a matter of opinion. I saw the TAS version when I was younger, and have seen the entire series again recently. I prefer Evolution. By quite some way in fact.

ugh i also did not like the teenage thing

well i guess... it would have been fine.. if like everything else wasn't minimized into high school level, like senator kelly turned into prinicpal kelly, it just made everything too miniscule (but it got way better in the later season, im more talking about the first 2 seasons, or just 1st)
