Nah, if it doesn't do well, they'll decide everyone's had enough of X-Men.So if Wolverine does well they will continue and make a Wolverine trilogy, if it doesn't do too well they will green light an X-Men 4 the next morning?

Well, Gavin Hood said he'd like to do Japan in the second one "if there ever is a second one".So they are going to give us three Wolverine movies than?
'Wolverine' to duke it out...in the World Series of Poker?

It appears Logan may be cutting 'em down at the card tables in the upcoming 'X-Men Origins: Wolverine' movie, with poker superstars Phil Helmuth and Daniel Negreanu were slated for a cameo in the film.
A Toronto reader named Ian gives us this scoop:
I was listening to 102.1 The Edge (an alternative radio station in Toronto) and they had poker player Phil Helmuth on a special guest. They started talking a bit about homegrown poker great Daniel Negreanu and Phil revealed some interesting news. Apparently the two of them were offered a chance to appear in the 'Wolverine' movie in Sydney! Phil had other commitments, but Daniel accepted. Supposedly they were to be featured in a poker game with Logan which is then interrupted by an unknown antagonist.
The info was confirmed last week in Helmuth's blog. Writes the poker champ:I was planning on flying to L. A. on Saturday for the WPT Celebrity Invitational, but I slept until 3:30. I was even still considering flying all the way to Sydney, Australia on Saturday night to do a cameo in the movie "Wolverine." Daniel Negreanu was leaving LAX Saturday night at around 10:00 pm, and I loved the idea of joining him. I was told that we were wanted for a key scene, even though we may only have received a few seconds of screen time, and not much money for the deal. So what? Of all of the poker players that were invited, Daniel and I both wanted to go!! I mean: how cool is that? I'm surprised that the other poker players didn't want to do it, but the travel was severe, the money not much, and the advance notice not more than a few days. I would have gone, but I committed to do an event for Ultimatebet.com in Toronto on the eighth called the Cross Canada Tour, and they needed me on set through the evening of the eighth. Oh well, I hope Daniel represents for the poker world!
The audience in the Mike Wieringo room that gathered on Saturday at WWLA for the Mega Movie Panel was excited to see an exclusive new cut of Warner Brothers upcoming Speed Racer film.

The panel included Ricky Purdin (Wizard Magazine) and Adam Tracy (Toyfare Magazine). X-Men Origins: Wolverine producer Jeff Katz was scheduled to appear but could not as he was needed on set in Australia. Can you blame him?

X: Men Origins: Wolverine claws its way into theaters on May 1st, 2009. The film takes place 20 years before the first X-Men film. Hugh Jackman returns as Logan with Live Shcreiber (The Omen) as Victor Creed and Danny Huston (30 Days of Night) as a younger William Stryker. The panel confirmed the rumors about other X-Men characters from the comics appearing in the film. Dominic Monaghan has been cast, as Beak and Ryan Reynolds will indeed play Deadpool.
"Wolverine" Behind-The-Scenes Issues
By Garth FranklinMonday, March 17th 2008 12:55am
With production underway at Fox Studios in Sydney on "X-Men Origins: Wolverine", a new rumor has emerged that someone new is coming into the fold in an important capacity.
Unlike in the past with say their "Fantastic Four" films in Canada, Fox has essentially closed the local set off to journalists and so details coming out have to be leaked through industry sources.
One such reliable source tells Dark Horizons that there have apparently been arguments between Director Gavin Hood and the studio about the tone of the film's content.
Fox, not surprisingly, wants something lighter and more kiddie-friendly in order to reach as wide an audience as possible. Hood on the other hand apparently wants to go darker and more intense.
If it were just this simple and, lets face it, pretty regular disagreement it would hardly qualify as a story. What makes this an interesting rumor is that "Superman" director Richard Donner is apparently being brought in as "some sort of directing consultant" on the project sometime after Easter.
Donner's behemoth of a trailer is said to have already been shipped into the country. Donner's wife of 22 years, Lauren Shuler Donner, has served as producer on all three previous "X-Men" films as well as such other comic adaptations as "Hulk" and "Constantine".
Due to timing of this story, attempts to contact Donner's publicists and Fox Studios a few hours ago went unanswered. Hopefully there will be an official response either way sometime soon.
Well, my hope and aspirations for this movie dropped to the bottom. Wolverine has permanently been ruined.
UPDATE (8:25pm): Fox has come back with a response. Richard Donner is on-set but the 'consultant' information is incorrect. Donner apparently has been on-set for brief periods on the previous "X-Men" films as well - mainly helping out in an unofficial capacity out and spending time with his wife Lauren who is producing.
Fox also re-iterates that in no way is Gavin Hood being replaced or usurped by anyone, this is very much his movie.
Should have seen the vagrant I beat up for this.So dramatic!
