Apparently there's a new fashion statement in some parts of Ireland, where woman are spotted wearing PJ's outside.
Pyjama Girls follows a group of teenagers who never get out of their nightwear.
The practice of wearing sleepwear in public first emerged in Dublin in the early 2000s and has become increasingly popular in some economically disadvantaged areas of the city. It has now spread to other Irish cities and been reported in Liverpool and Manchester.
The phenomenon has increased to the extent that some premises have barred people wearing nightwear. One cafe in Finglas erected a sign saying: “All customers must be wearing appropriate clothing. No pyjamas.” Some community centres, dole offices and schools have also banned them.
I've spotted some of these pajama's wearing girls around and they look ridiculous. Long leather boots with pink soft cotton PJ pants just looks awful. If you're going to wear PJ's outside, let's not be ****ty about it, try work it, try own it, but no, these girls(sometimes women) just look trampy. I mean look at how those two in the picture look, they won't even sit in the seat, they have to have their asses planted where people's hands like to rest.
Thoughts on PJ fever?
