Mysterio is the ultimate Stan Lee villain. Goofy, yet still cool, costume. Interesting, yet simple and easy to remember, origin and backstory. The ability to create over-the-top scenarios. The guys gotta be my favorite Marvel villain ever.

Yeah I agree, its the all time best supervillain costume in my opinion.

Mysterio;

The Costume is just so damn ugly, but I think that's exactly waht get's us in touch with the villain. some of the colors don't mix the cape is sometimes overly huge. And we question why he has a bubble on his head.

I look at the figure in my hand of Mysterio, I notice the trade marked bubble, the very detailed gloves, the checkered pattern body armour. And then I start to think, what do I really appreciate about this Villain.

Most notably is what does this character represent? I find Mysterio alot more different then the other characters Spider-Man has fought agianst over the years. Characters like Electro and Vulture, are just very simple like characters, each having stunning scenes and a back story that is worthy to the reader.

But un compared to the other Villains (Venom included) I find myself relateing more to Mysterio than anyother character in the Comics and cartoons (next to Riddler) It's what every man has become, not a man going out and seeking vengence or a man seeking revenge on those who have wronged him. But a person who feels as if he has lost everything that he has lost dear, and has the will to want to seek for power and a solution to every problems that contridict him.

Quentin Beck shows himself out in a lot of stories written about him, he was at the top of the game on everything that he had trained himself for, all his work that he has done. But Everyone knows what it is like, you have done so much on one thing till there is nothing left to do or fix. And yet in all of your greatness no one has ever heard of you before or know what you do.

People have expirienced that, not recieving enough credit for your very hard work that is shrugged over by the passing people, no one even bothers to look and thank you. What you must do is make your name known, but to the most of us we don't. Quentin is someone who acted on it and went out and sought to make his name known for his un credited work.

Just a very strong character has all the attributes that I would like in a character, great back story that could be expanded, Just a great character and I will enjoy every appearnce of him. Aslong as they don't mess him up like the last couple of times in recent books.

So I really do appreciate Mysterio and consider myself a big fan.

Bowen seems to be a fan of Mysterio, judging byt eh nicely detailed Bust and now the statue. do you know how tall the statue will be?

I knew nothing about it till now, and well, instantly I say to myself that I wanted it now.

Don't know the size yet but it should be in scale with Bowen other full size statues.

never liked the size personally, I hoping for something bigger this time around.

Do we have a chance that Mysterio will make it into the next film?

Yes!

The movie needs a guy who can keep MJ on her acting tract while trying to balance here life with peter Parker.

insert Beck here, I went Topher or Church a while ago before the picture, but I don't bet on topher for Mysterio.

That dome looks way to big.How is that figure anyway?

I'll wait and buy the full size Bowen statue that will do the character justice.

When I found it once it was over a hundred, more expensive then Venom lol.

You might be able to get a loose one cheap.I think there are 2 versions, one light green and a darker color green one.

He's my fav Marvel villain aswell.

Seriously though we need to think about how Mysterio should look when he appears in a future Spidey film?

If Sam Raimi uses him and I do hope he does then similar to GG and Doc Ock he will revamp the costume to suit the film.

It would be strange to have Mysterio without the dome but perhaps it could be modified somehow.

Any ideas as I've asked this before?

I don't think that a Mysterio Movie would work well with another Villain so he should be a stand alone type.

If you look at the rouges in SPider-Mans gallery you can see that most of them are kind of Mindless typed that go around killing people and so forth and so on. In My opion Mysterio can beat almost any villain on the list.

Mysterio Plans things out, that is what he is known, for. If you played Mysterio in chess you would lose. In almost all of his prominent appearances he had Worked everything and thought his moves ahead of time. He studies his advarsary and descovers his weaknessed his strenghts and then plan to eliminate him in a way that the person will not expect.

Hence a perfect stand alone, I kinda prefer for a movie his action scenes rather than Venoms. From what I say in the cartoon series Venom was more of the fighting type where as with Mysterio it's all floating junk and then good fighting in the Middle.

And come on who doesn't love it when Mysterio messes with the city? It's just funny. I loved it when everything was up in the sky and everyone was scared to jump off the edge it was just cool and the Meteors and the Fighting at the time was just lovely. This guy is defiantly Movie Material.

It is real obvious that this is the "Stan Lee" villain but not only in costume. I am sure now that if Stan could choose a villain then it would Be Mysterio. in all his appearances when written by Lee you could tell he was having more fun then some other ones.

Hi story mixes well, he is Spider-Mans counter part when they were young, both have nothing to lose in a sense, they both have loves, they are in and out of homes they need money all the time. they are a good matching pair.

I will have to think about what I would want to see, but I think it will probably look like the action figure I showed above. the basic Mysterio.

Actually in most interviews Stan always admits to Doc Ock and Sandman as his favorite Spider-man foes.

Then he will give a typical Stan Lee answer and say how every marvel villain is his favorite lol.

I tend to think Dr.Doom was the villain Stan really enjoyed writing the most, you can tell in interviews that Stan has alot of love for that character.
