Sequels Mysterio's Look

I know theres some who think he's too cheesy to be in a movie and some dont think that. I for one dont think so.
Powers aside, how would you want mysterio to look? Classic look or something completely different.
I would want something close to the classic but at the same time, very different.
He's gotta have the fish bowl though, I n it, id like it to have alot of smoke and a very 'hard to see' image of a skull in it, think something like that bowling ball from mystery men.
For the costume, id like a long cape and his suit to be a very dark green thats almost black
What would you guys like to see?

I liked his costume in Spider-Man 2 the game. Something like that would look great on the big screen. Any look MUST HAVE THE FISHBOWL!!! He is not Mysterio without it.

I thought he looked good in Spider man 2 the game. But a little too alien, it fit with that storyline but I think he would have to be tweaked.

The problem is is the Fishbowl is goofy but without it, he isn't Mysterio.

Exactly. Mysterio is cheesy, but he is supposed to be. It is part of his charm. That is why Bruce Campbell is perfect for the role. Who better than the King of Cheese!

But the cheese factor in these movies, especially the third one has turned off some people. Mysterio should be crazy out there, but they need to have the right tone, especially if he were to be a big villain. We don't want it to be a joke, he needs to have real menace under that fishbowl.

I am not saying make him a joke, but you can't leave out the cheese with a villain like Mysterio. It is a part of the character. To me, the cheese with Mysterio isn't cheese that will turn people off like with Peter's dancing.

Plus, Mysterio could be visually amazing (being he makes illusions, he can put almost anything on the screen).

But then again, my fear isn't really based on anything solid and it's possible that even if he were protrayed almost exactly like in the comics people would still enjoy him.

Mysterio and the Lizard I think are great villains for Raimi to use. Where as Venom really wasn't up his alley, though he still did a good job with him. But some other director might not get Mysterio and either make him too gimmicky, or water him down and make him more "Realistic".

Mysterio is a villain with great potential. I don't even think his true potential was even tapped into in the comics to the fullest extent. If done well, I think people would like him a lot.

I agree though that another director not really into Mysterio might do him poorly and make him a joke. While humor is part of him, Mysterio can give a lot to a Spider-Man movie.

However, I am less concerned about another director's take on the Lizard. It is pretty straight forward with him, and any good director could do a good Lizard story.

Mysterio is one of my favorite Spider-Man villains (might even be my favorite...just look at my avatar), so I want to see him used! Mysterio could give us a lot. Certainly more than the Chameleon.

So, a mix of the later Chameleon with the Parker robots and the cartoon version?
