Wonder Woman Costume Suggestions

I think that costume still says all of those things--

this is actually pretty cool but i think it'd be best if they stuck with the battleskirt. i think it's a good compromise between those who want swimsuit or pants and those that want neither.

^I don't think she should ever have a "bathing suit" it would make no logistical sense.

The "bathing suit" costume would look ridiculous in a serious, big budget summer tentpole type film.

Its her iconic costume.

Just as long as the colors are dark, and her eagle are armored, it should appear fine. They made Captain America work.

There's no such thing as practical armor when it comes to Wonder Woman because she deals with insanely high power levels where armor would be useless. Would you have Supergirl wear armor? Not only that, it defeats showcasing her athleticism and combat skills. There's a reason why she doesn't wear a bulletproof vest and choses to block bullets with her cuffs when she could just as well dodge them.

Putting Wonder Woman in full armor is very out of character and actually impractical given her abilities and strength. Her indestructible cuffs have been more than enough for decades.

Iconic doesn't mean it works. and Captain America isn't wearing a glorified bathing suit, it is like apples and oranges. Batman has yet to wear his "iconic" peace of spandex in the movies. Supermans has changed (and for the better). WW deserves the same respect.

No skirt doesn't equal a bathing suit. In fact, I'd go as far to say a skirt woyld look even more atrocious.
Really, because I've seen like a dozen different designs that include a skirt that all look great, maybe more.

Captain America's suit DID get a redesign in TFA to make it bulkier (like he was wearing some kind of body armor) and more like something a soldier would wear into combat. It was NOT the same as the classic comic costume. It got redesigned again in The Avengers. So that comparison doesn't work. This is a FILM, not a comic, different rules apply. Also, just because it's "iconic" doesn't mean that it works, especially for a film. It that's you're only argument, then you don't have much of a case.

I like the classic costume, but I think she'd look out of place alongside the live action Justice League with the swimsuit look. I believe she'll wear pants or a skirt

Hey everyone... when did Wonder Woman wear this (in which comic) and why?

Wonder Woman as Batwoman

In JLA #90, Wonder Woman has a vision where she and Batman are lovers. In one particular vision, Wonder Woman becomes the Batwoman, Batman's dark counterpart. She uses her Amazon skills with deadly efficiency, having been hardened by the streets of Gotham.

Basically it was just a dream.

Which I'd actually like to see; especially if its the greyer color scheme.

Now whether it could be pulled off is another question. The only actor who was able to pull off underwear-over-tights was Christopher Reeve.

Batman wearing body armor makes sense in the context of a film. He's vulnerable to bullets, knives, blunt objects, etc. Running around in what is essentially cloth wouldn't work in a FILM. Plus, it'd be hard to do without looking really goofy.

I think I may be the only one, but I rather like that costume. Are their more pics of it?

WAIT! NO! I do not want to see WW in that suit for the film! Relax everyone! Relax! I like the suit! Just not for a potential film...

Um... you sure you're in the right thread?

Yes, someone else brought up the fact that Batman doesn't wear his "iconic" costume in the films. I was responding to that. It ties into a larger point.
