Wonder Woman Movie in Development

Saw this lady on the news today and I haven't seen her mentioned a ton. Her name is Genevieve Chenneour and she's a certified badass for fighting off a guy trying to steal her phone! She's 27 and to me she has the closest look to classic Wonder Woman. At 5'7 she's a bit on the shorter side but so are most of the popular suggestions. Not only does she look the part but she has good range as an actress and practices boxing! Unfortunately she doesn't seem to have that much exposure, so I don't know if she has a realistic shot but I hope she can at least land an audition.

Here is the news story with footage of her beating that idiot who tried to steal her phone and some of her boxing.

Here is a short film that almost feels like an audition for WW with her grieving the loss of a loved one. Skip to the 7 minute mark for the good stuff.

I respect an agent going out their way like this to get their clients name out there, anywhere. Salute!

You got me! 🤣

Nah but I've been keeping my eye on most of the fancasts for Diana and I just haven't been crazy about any of'em. When I saw that story, I went down a rabbit hole just making sure I really like her for WW and yeah....she's my definitely my top choice, tho I know she stands a snowball's chance in hell.

5'7 is short?
Look, I can't really talk cuz I'm a whopping 5'5 but WW is normally depicted as pretty tall and so are her previous actresses with Lynda Carter at 5'8 and Gal Gadot at 5'10. Even actresses who were supposed to play her were tall with both Adrianne Palicki and Megan Gale at 5'11. So when I say 5'7 is on the shorter side, I mean comparatively.

I'm a redhead 5'11 Latina, I shall honor Lynda and take on the role. :o

Using this logic, there are four known actors. Leo, Tom, Will, and Taylor Swift. :funny:
Right...
I knew all three of them before they were cast. tens of millions around the world watched House of the Dragon s1 both legally and otherwise. More people know her then 99% of actors.
Good for you!!!! I bet there were ten millions other who had or has no idea who they are. And wouldn't recognize their faces, even if they did watch them.
You mentioned Lex and Lois. They aren't going to be members of the JL either. You're changing the parameters of your own argument.
I have no idea what are you talking about.

Perrie is a ridiculous argument. The reason he was cast is because of Rebel Ridge. Where he got on everyone's radar. I saw it. It was on Netflix. It's really good. Lots of people saw it.

Being super famous is not what it means to be a "known" actor. What you're doing is confusing terms because you want a specific type of casting. Now let's see if you'll answer a few questions.

How many actors on your list are more talented then Adria Arjona?

Do you know the average height of a woman in the US?

What massive movie magic is used to make Tom Cruise or RDJ look taller?

What is your issue with women in their 30s?
Sure i'll answer your questions. i'll try to be as respectful as i can(though sometimes it's very hard).

I didn't see Arjona in a lot of stuff, but the things i did see her in - she didn't impressed me too much so....Unlike you and all of Arjona's fans i also don't find her such as the great actress it seems you make her to be .
Who are better actresses From my list, then her? Courtney Eaton, Daisy Edgar-Jones, Mitzi Ruhlmann and Lisa Vicari are just a few. on the other hand this kind of opinions are a very subjective ones, wouldn't you agree?

I do know the average height of a woman in the US. Men, too. That's the reason in one of my previous post i mentioned, that whoever portray WW should be naturally tall, - not just compared to other women(5'4 averaged in the US as i recall), but to the average male(5'8 in the US as i recall).

i think your Cruise and RDJ question is just trolling, so i'm not gonna even try.

Issue with women in their 30s? Are you for real? Just because i think, whoever they'll cast for Wonder Woman should be under 30(and over 5'8) it means i have issue with women it their 30s? Really???
Do you also think i have problems with short or average height women?

Gunn’s handling of Circe was AWFUL in creature commandos. Neutered tf out of what should’ve been such a powerful villain.

I have always wanted Circe as the villain of a third Wonder Woman movie, but I have no interest in that now.

Adria Arjona
Melissa Barrera
Monica Barbaro
Katy OBrien (sold me in Love Lies Bleeding- what a babe. should probably just be Barda though)

I think those 4 are my favorites right now. We’ve got better WW options than we did back when Snyder was casting WW.

Circe is likely to be in WW since she's already cast, and its a cool casting at that. Don't think the CC role will be much of a factor there, at all.

This feels deeply dramatic lol

Considering we’re getting a reprisal of the John Williams Superman theme in Gunn’s Superman, do we think we’re in for a reprisal of Zimmer’s WW theme? Or will the desire to distance the DCU from the DCEU necessitate a new sound?

Much as I like Zimmer’s theme, I’m actually thinking the latter. That one really feels like it’s meant to accompany an action beat, whereas a new theme could, ideally, speak more to Diana’s character.

I like the Wonder Woman theme, but I don't think it's considered as iconic as the Superman one, so I think they'll start fresh.

I think Circe is bound to be in one of the first two Wonder Woman movies (if there are two of them), but I don't know if they're going to use Anya Chalotra since they didn't really use her likeness in Creature Commandos. I like Rachel Weisz for the part.

I'll prefer a different Anya - Anya Taylor-Joy. I think she can be a great Circe. No offense to Chalotra. Ever since "The Witcher" started its run on Netflix, Chalotra's 'Yen' been my favorite character.

Well, the role's been cast. And Circe strikes me as one of the characters from CC where they'd keep the voice actor in live action.
