Wonder Woman Movie in Development

Now this... Will make a lot of sense. An Unknown is the only way to go with WW.
Watch actresses use Gal's accent. :o
You do know people in the Meditererranean has a lot of accents, right? You know Greece is part of the Meditererranean area? Spain? Italy? even France. I hope Wonder Woman will have an accent. Why? Because she's not an American nor British or any other english speaking country, and she shouldn't sound like one.

Oh I missed the "TV" part... Courtney Eaton works for me too; just looking forward to getting an actress in the role.

What? You mean they don't sound like Mario and talk about their love for gondolas and pasta?

I read the transcript from the podcast. Umberto never actually claims to know what type of actress the studio is looking for; he was merely speculating here. The kid who runs Everything DCU twisted his words. All Eh Maybe said he knew for sure was that Orton had sent in the script for Bane/Deathstroke.

I’d love to see Ferdinand in this as a supporting character. Just for some mythical flavor for our WW franchise.

As for villains, whether it’s Veronica Cale or Baroness von Gunther or Ares or the Sovereign or Vandal Savage, I’d love to see her classic rogues utilized too since we’re avoiding origin stories. Give me Giganta, Silver Swan, and Doctor Cyber.

I think Vanessa Kirby would have been perfect for Veronica Cale or Baroness Von Gunther , but she's locked into Disney/ Marvel at this point, so, she's off the table I would imagine.

I could see Anya Taylor Joy as an number of WW villains , and since Marvel and Sony haven't seemed to have been able to snag her ( as far as we know) hopefully Gunn will be able to get her for a DCU role .

Since Chap1 of DCU is "Gods and Monsters" I think WW will likely be very mythological heavy. Which I dont mind because they tried to make DCEU WW very grounded.

Give me Gods. Give me monsters. Give me ferdinand.
Goodbye Godkiller. :o

They should definitely grab Anya Taylor-Joy. For Circe - if possible.
I also think that Silver Swan need to be the Villian in a WW film. Maybe the Second one alongside Circe.

Wowow this movie is really cooking. Ana Nogueira just adapted Tom King's writing with Woman of Tomorrow... I still think she'll be picking up WW: Outlaw by King for inspiration on this one.

Just seems like this DCU will be Grant Morrison / Tom King adaptations with a little bit of a silver age pastiche--

Superman - based on Morrison's All-Star Superman
Supergirl - based on King's Woman of Tomorrow
Lanterns
- King is producing
Mister Miracle - based on the Tom King run

I wouldn't be opposed to seeing some of Morrison's WW: Earth One either-- it's already an homage to the Golden/Silver Age anyway. Just avoid the specific origin stuff & let's jump straight into an adventure

First Supergirl then Teen Titans and now Wonder Woman, I know Gunn said perfect the script first but I didn't know WB only had one other writer that isn't Gunn that can do that. :o

Jokes aside, I don't mind having one writer write that many films, look at Marvel, half the infinity saga was written by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely.

I'm not sure that it's a good idea to have one writer's voice shape so much of the DCU, especially when they're so unproven. This might be needless skepticism if Supergirl turns out to be amazing, but that's a lot of pressure to live up to for someone with zero produced credits to their name. We already know what can happen if one person's voice is responsible for molding an entire universe, and that vision is rejected by the public. I hope there are more checks and balances this time around to keep the DCU from stumbling.
