It was Jett from Batmanonfilm. He even posted the WW pic last year as proof that she was going to be Kryptonian.

Oh, yeah. This picture was already hilarious back then, but is ten times more so now. :lmao:

"That is Kryptonian! Believe it!!!"

"Okay don't shoot." :funny:

Huh? Seriously... Huh?

Probably the whole mystical power of the Olympian Gods cloaking it for centuries like always? Maybe? Same as Atlantis being a myth from the bottom of the ocean until AQUAMAN makes his public appearances.

Don't know about this setting but lots of times to people Batman is just a myth.

I just have a feeling that the modern world is ignorant of magic and Gods and other supernatural beings because of some kind of treaty or pact that was made in ancient times.

perhaps in ancient times ( like in Ancient Greece ), all of that stuff was common place. but a great battle or event happened that threatened the mortal world. so the magical powers that be decided to retreat from the mortal world and not interfere.

that is....until certain aliens started to show up.........

also, if gods do exist in the DC Cinematic world, as WW being the daughter of Zeus proves, then I hope that means demons exist, too.

especially a certain demon with a certain daughter.................;)

oh and who pray tell would that be? :woot:

I don't think you necessarily need treaties and pacts, though diplomatic relations between certain hidden societies do make sense. But The Amazons going into hiding thousands of years ago and being protected by the power of the magic of the gods is straightforward enough story wise, as is Altlantis sinking and it becoming myth simply because it's at the bottom of the ocean.

I don't feel this needs to be over thought in the least. YMMV of course.

I think that it's much more likely that he'll be a founding member of the JL ala the New 52 (since they're also using WW's demigoddess origin from there as well apparently). Plus they're still working on that TT TV show for TNT.

Including the fact that the bottom of the ocean is a difficult place to reach (we have) but again difficult, hectic and dangerous place to be. Man has yet to FULLY explore the ocean, given we have more ocean than land on our planet.

it could also be that whatever magic was hiding the Amazons was disrupted when the World Engine started destroying the planet.

the magical "veil" was broken, so to speak.

the world engine destruction would also have disrupted the oceans and thus affected Atlantis.

I'll buy that.

I wonder how they will explain WW's absence from the Superman/Zod battle in MOS.

we know that Bruce was in Metropolis, but how come WW didn't get involved when the aliens showed up.

Was she forbidden from interfering?

Simple really. The entire battle took place over a few hours, if that. So she simply didn't have time to get there. Or the Amazons decided that it wasn't their problem. It's not that hard to explain actually.

true. but I want a live action Titans movie.

I want to see Raven on the big screen!

So would I. I just don't think it likely, at least anytime soon.

I'm assuming the solo Wonder Woman movie will be set before BvS so I imagine we won't learn much if anything at all about her origins since they'll be saving it for that film.

Yeah, I know it's tempting but these films aren't made for the sole purpose of recreating every thing from the comics on the big screen. We may not get a TITANS film or lots of other characters. I for one am not holding my breath to see Donna or any version of Wondergirl.

I really need to see that lasso in action. Wanna see what Snyder does with it :drl:
