Sure you can play the trial, but after that you still gotta pay the full price for it, you cant just DL the trial and go "lol i get it for free!"

Yeah, I did that. After the trial ran out I went and bought a time card. Then, when I punch in the number on the card it says I need to enter a retail authentication key. That's all I need to play the game, the authentication key.

That's a load of crap. If I knew someone with the game I could just write down their auth. kei and input on my pc and no one would be able to say anything.

The same auth. key can be used on multiple pc's. This is so that people who buy the game can play on any pc they want or even switch pc's all together.

Yes it can...buy why in the hell would someone on a message board give you their auth key when they paid $30-$50 for theirs?

I have a problem with my account, specifically the new characters I created recently. I have just reactivated my account after a long hiatus, and I've decided to go horde in a pvp server. I had purchased the original Collector's Edition, so all my old characters have the choice of 3 CE pets to pick from. However, none of my new characters have the gift item in their inventory that would give them the CE pet. I'd like to know if others havet his problem, and how can I get the CE pets for my characters.

If I remember right didn't you have to complete a quest to get the gift first?

When you open the gift, it will give you a quest to talk to a npc, who will let you pick from 3 CE pets. My new characters don't have this gift in their inventory.

That's strange. I'd open a support ticket online. Just click on the help button down at the bottom of the menu and fill out the ticket under the proper menu.

I guess I'll try that. I'll be pissed if Blizzard could not fix this problem, because those CE pets are one-of-a-kind and cannot be replaced.

I'm happy to say that I got my CE pet after all. Blizzard changed it so the new characters don't have the gift in their inventory, but it arrives in mail instead. I wonder why they'd change it after so many years, but w/e.

Btw, my new character is a horde druid at Nahzgul. He's still quite low (and I do missed my netherwing mount), but so far it's been fun to play WOW again.

I'd love to try WAR, but after we have the new baby, my play time is severely limited, so WOW suits my playing time more due to its more casual-gamer approach. If WAR had came out 2 years ago, I'd be all over it.

There are alot of people under level 20 who talk to you like you are there specifically to serve them.

How fast does it to level from 20-60 now? I know that Blizzard changed it to make these 40 levels faster, but I haven't tried it yet. Due to the limited playtime I have, I'd like to know if leveling is now significantly faster than before.

20-40% faster depending on the routes you go. I suggest downloading the "Quest Helper" mod, as it's essentially an 'ezmode' for WoW. It takes the quests you have now and plots out trails for you in your map for you to go and pick up certain items or kill certain mobs here, and to turn it all back in. The xp change I believe was 20%, but I leveld a shadow priest from 40-60 in less than 2 days /played cause of the addon/xp boost.

SO yeah, it's a pretty big jump. THe only thing is 1-20 still sucks hardcore.

Thanks for the help. Can I get "Quest Helper" mod from Cursed Gaming website? It's the only place I get WOW mods from. As for 1-20, I know what you mean because it's hard to do so as druid since we don't get cat form until level 20.
