That was my first impression too. Then I thought, what if Nightcrawler teleported Hulk up into space again. Just a really quick series of teleportations while touching the Hulk. Just enough to send him floating out into space temporarily. I'm not sure what the others could do, compared to what the first two teams failed at, but I'm especially interested in what Darwin is capable of, going up against the Hulk... And what the hell happened to Juggernaut's powers?

Yeah... That's going to happen. Just like we all expected Kitty to phase Hulk's brain or heart out of his body, or some such.

People need to, seriously, at least hope for / expect / whatever realistic (for the characters; in character things, if you'd rather it like that) things to happen. Kurt isn't going to teleport Hulk into space, just like he isn't going to teleport Hulk's head off. AoA Nightcrawler, most assuredly. 616 Nightcrawler, not so much.

I'm sure Darwin can survive anything the Hulk can throw at him, but I don't see him giving Hulk much of a fight.

His body immediately adapts to anything that happens to it. For example, he got sucked through a hole in a space station, and was floating in the vacuum of space; his body suddenly didn't need oxygen to survive, and it increased in density. One time he feel down a deep shaft, and his body became somewhat elastic to survive the fall. If you shoot him with an energy weapon once, he'll be invulnerable to it the second time. Stuff like that.

I can see his body increasing in density to survive a punch from the Hulk, but that's really about it. Darwin can survive anything, but I don't see him giving Hulk a run for his money.

Do you even know what Strong Guy's power is? Now, mind you, it's been awhile since I've seen his powers in gear, but if they are what they were in the original X-Factor series, he can take concussive force and turn it into more muscle mass for increased strength and durability. Kinda like Bishop can funnel energy into his own power. This effectively means that Guido can funnel the damage Hulk gives him and turn it back around, assuming he stays up.

Did you know that Nightcrawler can teleport? That's what all the purpley smoke that's often around him means, FYI. Teleporting plus multiple strikes, but now would be a phenomenal time for us to see Nightcrawler with swords again. t:

unless nightcrawler would be willing to teleport body parts off, then even multiple 'BAMF' hitting the hulk or even cutting him with swords would be as effective as quoting scripture to him

Other people there: Siryn (sonic screams; shut up, Outcry), Monet (plethora of physical upgrades), Warpath (uber knives and plethora of physical upgrades), Darwin (adaptation), Hepzibah (probably wouldn't hesitate to try and eat Hulk, since she's a savage and all), and, well, Madrox can hogpile Hulk. We need to see a 300 spoof like in X-Factor #20. t: t: t: And it's probable that Juggernaut will be back up in the fight. Maybe.

M could possibly hurt him. she is like a female superman, with telepathy(she'd kick supergirl/woman's ass)

Warpath has super strength and heightened speed and agility and endurance...he might get a half a punch in or a scratch with his knives before hulk punts him to new jersey

if Darwin survives Hulk's first punch in time to adapt to it, he still wouldnt be much use because he's a pushover...well not much battle experience..that and hulk gets stronger as he gets angrier so they both have adaptation powers...sorta

So, yeah, lots of smashing, on a higher scale than Emma/Colossus/Beast could do on their own.

Emma should be diamond dust...Beast should be skinned and Colossus peeled back like a tin can...I take that back. Colossus should be able to trade a punch or three with Hulk before going down..but he WILL go down

All I pointed out was that, just because they're not Colossus or Juggernaut, doesn't mean they're going to do nothing to the Hulk. We know they're not going to beat him, but it's probably a safe bet that the Hulk isn't going to hospitalize every single X-Man that shows up before the end of the issue.

Effectiveness isn't a factor. Colossus and Juggernaut didn't do jack **** to Hulk either.

Elixir is there...nobody's going to the freakin' hospital. and at this point and time, nobody is going to be able to stand against the Hulk. because Marvel mandates it. they are going to come to a peaceful resolution...and Xavier will be the one to do it.

I really am curious how they will end this event if they ever planned to kill the Hulk. If the powerful telepaths can't, they who can? Black Bolt can't...surprisingly, Dr. Strange. I'm looking forward for an Illuminati brawl against the Hulk. If he's really that strong, then I guess he could take Prof. X, Dr. Strange, Iron Man, Namor....in a fight.

And thanks for the headups, I havent caught the Logan ripping Hulk did. I just don't know who to cheer for, him or Logan. Lol.

Hell, even Ord and Danger owned Wolvie in a brawl.

If I recall correctly, Danger's interface mentioned something about his face being his weakness. You do the math.

New villains always win the first round. Wolverine beat them both at the same time in round 2, and it was written by a self proclaimed Logan hater.

When I saw the last panel I nearly laughed my ass off. If Hulk demolished Collossus and Juggernaut what the hell can Strong Guy do? What is Nightcrawler going to do? Preach the gospel?

I haven't forgotten his power at all...I also haven't forgotten that his body cannot handle it. which means when truly tested...Guido stands a strong chance of contracting a mighty case of heart attack related death

I do know. Guido's ability to absorb incredible punches from the Hulk and converting it into strength wouldn't even last long, maybe a little over a minute and the level that Hulk is currently, I would be shocked if Guido doesn't have a massive stroke.

He's had a heart attack / gone into cardiac arrest, that old X-Factor issue, but a stroke would be something else entirely. Sheesh. t:

i'm not a hater of guido...i like his name and his look..always have...great big upper body..itty bitty chicken legs...he was always a fave of mine...then they weakened him by giving him a condition...so now i dont want him to overexert himself...he may die. and going against Hulk would def. count as overexertion
