What are people like Strong Guy, Warpath, or Monet supposed to do? Have tea and dumplings and talk it out with him? Their mutations pretty much do lend themselves to the physical, last I checked.

Strong Guy would lay at Hulk's feet and have a heart attack until Hulk feels bad.

Warpath can smell him to death, or stand there and try to remember if he can still fly.

Monet can sass the hell out of him. Of course, if this were Ultimate Hulk, Monet could stop him by dropping it like it's hot, bringing it up slow, bending over to the front, and touching her toes.

I cannot believe I just said that.

I want Christos Gage to write a freakin' X-Men title already. Put him on Uncanny! I love Brubaker, but dangit, his X-Men stories have been suspect. But Gage nails the characters like an expert. And look! Nightcrawler's actually talking like a capable leader and Emma's coordinating! Geez... even Whedon doesn't write Emma like that. t:

Well, since writers have been powering down all the Earth heroes just to make the Hulk look invencible, i wouldn't trust this cross-overs to define anyone's powers.

Actually, it's rather nice to see some limitations on Darwin's power.

It lessens the chance that he'll be made into an ultimately ******ed character the way Claremont wrote Lifeguard for awhile.

Surviving in a hostile atmosphere would be altogether different from taking heavy-duty punches to one's body. Which in and of itself is even different to his body adapting to survive the fall down the shaft with the Shi'ar soldier-things in "Rise and Fall."
Given the evolution his body went into, I'd say even his powers knew he didn't stand a chance taking that kind of punishment.
What's bad about that?

Here's how Marvel describes the book:

I know M isn't some super powerhouse or anything but she really can put up a better fight. And question, why don't all the psychics work on Hulk at once? Xavier, Emma, the Stepford Cuckoos and Monet should be able to take him down if it's a combined effort.
