Jar Jar Binks! - Worst CGI Character... EVER!

basically he was just to show off their new CGI character technology....so as a work of art. (LOL) jar jar looks good for the time...but that's it!! had no purpose other than.. "HEy! look what we can do with computers!"
Jar jar should have been saved for a Shrek movie.

Scooby doo and garfield were also pretty bad, but that was mostly do to the terrible movies.

Not to be a conformist, but I gotta go with Jar Jar. He just sucked all around, even though at the time it was seen as a breakthrough for CG characters.

I have to give honorable mention to Yoda from Attack of the Clones though. What was done with that character was nothing short of insulting to what Frank Oz originally created in Empire Strikes Back.

Jar Jar, hands down! Ang Lee's Hulk comes in a close second. I haven't seen Avatar or I Am Legend yet, so I can't vote on any of them. Most of the other characters I actually liked.
