Worst Fantasy Movies.

Yes another thread but this time i am not going to impose my opinion of what i dislike in the genra well just not yet anyway. So what has to be some of the worst fantasy movies ever. This can consist of dragon and magic movies even sci-fi made or be fantasy is welcome. If you hated it then feel free to vent your hate for these movies just not at me.

Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. A terrible movie based on great books. I am still hoping they will do this right one day. I truly want to see a big budget TV mini series.

Jeramy Irons is still realing from such a bad movie. If you never have seen it don't bother. Oddly enough the much lower budgeted D/D 2 Curse Of The Dragon God with its dodgy special effects was better.

One movie some people seem to dislike is Reign Of Fire which i enjoyed quite a bit. Its by far the best current dragon movie. I hope Eragon doesn't fall into a Dungeon and Dragons simular trap. Even though the trailer was better then D&D 1.

It's a disaster, a train wreck on the same scale as Batman & Robin. It really is worse than simply embarassing, its' depressing.

Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within

It's not the worst, but it's so underwhelming, it belongs on this list just by that merit alone.

Someone mentioned 'Dungeons and Dragons'. I was not aware that a film was made on that pathetically, disenchanting piece of fecal matter. I haven't seen it, but I'd give that movie the benefit of the doubt. . . .by placing it on this list.

Also, that Sci-Fi original picture, 'Earthsea' was a ****ing travesty. The novel was a better than average piece of material with some interesting plot points. I guess the film version didn't need silly things like story continuity, PROPER character growth, and a legitimate conclusion.

There are many more, but I felt strongly about those. The others are not worth my time and I feel ashamed for wasting several minutes on the drivel above.

I agree with you on Reign of Fire. I really anjoyed it as a popcorn flick. I mean it has Christian Bale, Mathew McConaughey (as a bald headed badass no less), and dragons. What's not to love?

Gotta agree on Legend, I watched it once and that was enough for me, I couldn't bare to watch it again. Though the Lord of Darkness is a incredibly cool looking bad guy.

I think Pitch black kinda sucked.
And a film that was underrated was the fith element.
