On the other hand, I tried watching a movie called "Go Fish" the other day that was about lesbians in the 90's. I never thought lesbianism could be so damned uninteresting. Or poorly acted.

There were tons of blockbusters from this decade that are worse than "Revenge of the Fallen". To name a few? "Jurassic Park III", "Planet of the Apes", "Men in Black 2", Ang Lee's "Hulk", "Napoleon Dynamite", "Superman Returns", "Shrek the Third"...I could go on. People are acting like "Revenge of the Fallen" killed their parents, raped their sister and kicked their puppy. This is the same thing that happened with "Spider-Man 3". It is by no means a great movie, but people are treating it as if it's the worst movie ever made. Hell, I don't even think it's the worst summer blockbuster this year. For me, that was "X-Men Origins: Wolverine".

I gotta admit, I really didn't care much for Public Enemies. The Proposal was funny, but the romance aspect in it sucked hardcore. I have no problem watching a chick flick (I'm a dude with enough bravery to admit The Notebook isn't all that bad) with my lady, but just because you have two people kiss on screen and go through some wacky scenarios together hasn't convinced me they're "in love."

Yeah, I have to agree. There have been some chick flicks that I genuinely felt worked well... The Notebook was a good one, When Harry Met Sally is another, etc. The thing is, what made them good was that they took time to establish the relationships.

The problem with most pain-by-number chick flicks is that they follow the same, annoying formula:

Guy meets girl, they're both attractive but can't stand each other, one of them has to help the other one with something, they realize that (shocker!) they ARE attracted to each other, guy does something to piss off girl right when things start to go well, girl storms off, guy does some stupid and elaborate gesture to win her back, roll credits.

I remember watching that awful 27 Dresses movie with Katherine Heigl (girlfriend forced me to) and damn near wanted to shoot myself. The only thing surprising in that movie was that James Marsden played the guy who gets the girl instead of the guy who gets dumped. Hope he enjoyed it.

I thought The Proposal was alright actually. It had a level of...I dunno...acidity or sourness? to it. It wasn't all sickly sweet like most of those ****ing rom/coms.

I'd definitely name Halloween 2 as deserving of the "worst" title, Final Destination not so much. It was too bland to really raise much ire over.

I thought the first Halloween was s**t so it would surprise me if the sequel was much worse.

The worst movie of 2009 that I've seen is Dragon Ball: Evolution.

There is nothing good about the movie.

And Street Fighter 2 was pretty f**king awful too. It made the s**tty X-Men Orgins looks like a flippin masterpeice.

I tried to watch Street Fighter 2 but I just couldn't do it . It made me not rent Dragonball Z and I'm won't taking anymore chances this year.

So I refuse to see The Final Destination , I don't even know how a Final Destination 4
made it to theatres after Final Destination 3 came out.

I watched Dragonball Evolution a week ago. I take everything back about what I said about Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.

I would pick Wolverine only because the movie had so much potential. Also, going from X-Men (despite its flaws, it still was a decent movie) and X2, and going down the path of X3, Wolverine felt like a falling star that was once in a galaxy of quality.

I also hated Transformers 2, but at least Michael Bay didn't hide anything; it is what it is.

One thing I will say about Dragonball Evolution: it was mercifully short. Seriously, once Goku calls the dragon I was like "wow, this is almost over already?" I guess if a movie is going to blow it might as well not drag it out.

it just felt like Dragonball and Street Fighter shared the same crew and budget because the both of them felt so cheap and rushed.

It was a lot more fun and disposable than the truly awful Halloween 2. That movie makes the 2007 remake look like a masterpiece, truly horrific in a bad sense.

It almost usurps TF-2, but then Zombie didn't have giant robot testicles and two racial caricatures. We can be thankful for small favors.

They really did screw up Wolverine and there was no excuse for it. Not even just the story aspect . The cgi claws moving over the knuckles in the bathroom caused everyone in my theatre to laugh and one kid yelled fake.
