Worst Moments in Comic Books

Ok so you seem relatively informed, but have you ever seen an Aquaman comic?
The man thrashed Martian Manhunter without even a problem. A guy who is supposedly almost on Superman's level.
Aquaman has held up an entire city block before, for hours on end. Namor can lift what? A bus? Your grannies groceries?
Oh yeah not to mention he's fast, really fast.
Tactically, we'll just assume they are the same since they both control Atlantis's armies.
Oh yeah and on top of that, Aquaman is a telepath, like you mentioned.

So other than the fact that Aquaman is stronger, waaaayyyy stronger, faster, and telepathic, yeah, he and Namor are about evenly matched....

Namor did beat the Hulk and he is in the class 100 strength group

I can see Batman Vs. Cap and Aquaman vs. Namor going either way, but there is NO WAY Quicksilver could beat the Flash EVER. And it would be a cool fight but Supes would beat the Hulk.

with the exception of the namor thing, yeah your right. Flash owns Quicksilver and Supes owes all but maybe mindless and dark Hulk (since he was magic)

Wrong wrong wrong. Cap and Bats would go either way. Batman is more highly trained and fluent in many forms of combat. The ONLY edge Cap has is the super soldier serium. Bats has gone up against stronger faster people than the Captain and come out on top. Toss in his belt of goodies, he has a slight edge.

Cap destroying Bats, bull****, not be the case.

I think Hulk stands a good chance against Supes as well, the madder he gets the stronger. Doomsday beat Supes and Hulk would easily surpass him in strength and speed as the fight wore on. Hulk wins 7 of 10.

Cap also beat Hulk hand to hand. Cap is the best hand to hand combatant in the MU, taking on opponents far more powerful than anything Bats is used to on his own.

and how much does he supposedly weigh? it's a fact that stockier guys have the advantage when it comes to weight-lifting. Scott also benefited from being in prison for 3 years and being white; gotta defend yourself. ok, i'm mostly kidding but he really did hold 300 lbs over his head and then tossed it. Avengers 223. he grew to full height in order to save Hawkeye from a pouncing adult lion. he grew up underneath it, placed his arms out, and then tossed it away from Hawkeye into the side of an electrified cage. read it if you don't believe me. now some will say that his strenght was enhanced by momentum but you really have to see the art. it shows him growing to full height. at that point, he's used up all of his momentum. the next panel shows him tossing the lion. doubt if you like but what evidence is there that Scott Lang couldn't 'bench' 300 lbs? he did work construction and fit perfectly into a costume worn by Henry Pym; a guy known for intensive weight training because he felt outclassed by Thor, Hulk, and Iron Man. Scott also worked construction when he worked for Tony Stark.

p.s. marvel directory lists Daredevil at 6 ft tall and 200 lbs. Scott is 6ft tall and weighs 190. is that a huge difference? i ask because Pym is 6ft tall, weighs 185, and doesn't look any smaller than Daredevil physically.

Hulk was worn down from fighting every one of the Avengers before he got to Cap, PLUS that hulk is not nearly as powerful as the Hulk int he regular Marvel, PLUS not nearly as smart. He is just brute force and raging brute force loses to calm cool and collected with technique every time.

sorry, i didn't read Identity Crisis and don't know who you're talking about. but both Ant-Man, normally, fought at about half and inch tall. but, both, have also reached microscopic size. in the marvel universe, shrinking that small transports you to the microverse. but Scott did get small enough to hand repair the Hulk's DNA molecules at one point. still, neither Ant-Man is the Atom.

I say this only because I used to think it was the other way around. I also think it was cool that Namor was an Anti-hero from the begining.

Hulk would never be able to beat Superman now. I mean they pretty much powered him back up to Pre-Crisis Superman and well Hulk will have little effect on Superman now. I mean the man threw a punch at Black Adam that was said could split a moon in half (though he held it back). I am just saying even Doomsday would now have trouble beating Superman unless they made him just as powerful but Hulk does not stand a chance any more.
