So this year, 2006... was the year of OVER-BUDGETED CRAP FILMS! Which one do you think needs special recognition of achieving a new level of crap and why?

Why is it so hard for newbies to use the search function?:csad: :csad: :csad:

Anyways, the worst of 06 was the Da Vinci Code.

My pick was going to be just X3 But i threw a few more in there!

Dane Cook let me down with Employee of the Month almost as much as kinberg/ ratner did!

I hope the people who said X-Men 3 haven't seen Ultraviolet, because I'd never want to take movie advice from you.

Where is the Superman Returns option? It is winning in the other thread...

Anyway, we already have a thread like this.

Ultra Voilet - i hated it, was funny as it was soooo bad, last time i let my friend chose i film hehe.

I haven't seen Ultraviolet, and I am sure it is bad, but the disappointment factor alone of X3 is enough that even if Ultraviolet is a worse movie, X3 still has a more negative impact. I mean, did anyone really expect Ultraviolet to be any good? Whereas maybe a good number of people had lowered their expectations of X3 because of the director (like myself), still its a very sad ending film to what could have been a great trilogy of movies and a lot of people were very disappointed with it.

Lots of newbies making dup posts today. :csad:

X3 wasn't the worst movie of the year. A disappointment, and perhaps not a fitting sequel, but not the worst movie of the year. Not by a long shot.

Of the major releases I saw, Lady in the Water and Superman Returns are fighting it out for the title.

I wouldn't say it was the worst movie of the year, I have not seen all so I cannot comment. But the biggest disappointment to me was The Da Vinci Code. I expected a lot from this, great cast, directed by Ron Howard, I wouldn't say I was a fan of the book but I expected this to be somewhat decent. Simply put, it wasn't.

Date Movie and The Covenant, BY FAR the worst movies on the poll.

X-Men 3 isnt rubbish it just could have been better. Its still better than half the movies released this year.

The Pacifier?

Actually 2 years ago.

You put a couple of options on that poll that should not be on that list.

Ultraviolet made me laugh more than Date Movie did...and because of that, both of them are at the bottom of my list...

...Death of a President was pretty boring and pointless as well.

maimi vice... eragon... date movie(didnt even need to see it)... scary movie 4
...

Crank, Da Vinci Code, and Pirates 2 shouldn't be anywhere near the bottom of the barrel. I don't think Employee of the Month is either, and even X3 - while pretty bad - shouldn't be on the list.

I did vote for Covenant, Basic Instinct 2 and Other. I would've voted Date Movie, but to be fair, I never watched that one.
