I voted for CASINO ROYALE.

By the way, you left out a lot of great movies that came out this year (i.e. MARIE ANTOINETTE and THE QUEEN). I mean, I think it's silly to make this kind of poll and leave out the ones that only had a limited release (even though they tend to be high-quality), but include senseless movies that are mediocre at best, like X-MEN: THE LAST STAND.

The Departed wins by a fraction of The Prestige for me. Both were sensational. There were plenty of others i thought we great but these 2 a ahead of the pack.

My honorable mention goes to POTC 2, for simply being the most entertaining/fun movie I saw this year.
