The Best Movie, I'm NOT kidding, was Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

but since it is not, the best movie on the list is far and away the Departed
next to that there are two movies that didn't even make the list, Lucky Number Slevin, and V for Vendetta that are better than most of these movies listed

This list is obviously short sighted since it's made for the people on this site, my vote is probably United 93, with Cars and Monster House coming close. Keep in mind I still haven't seen many other highly rated movies like The Queen and Little Miss Sunshine, among others.
L0ngsh0t said:Little Miss sunshine was good, but is a bit overrated in indie film crowds, I think there are two low budget comedies like that, that are better in Thank You for Smoking, and Clerks 2, I felt both where the two best pure comedies of the year

Did Click keep you on the edge of your seat too?

But overall this summer was pretty lame. MI:III and Poesidan and X3 were all teribble movies with SR, Pirates 2 and Lady in the Water being average at best.
This list is kind of....shallow. No offense though.
