My favorite Pizza chain is Mountain Mike's Pizza.
California only I believe.

Same here. I've lived in CA most of my life until my wife and I moved up to Washington in January. I'm going to miss Mountain Mike's as well as In N Out Burger. :csad:

Anyone test out the Washington DC giant slices?

Fast Food Pizza has a few lacking qualities: One: Low Grade Cheese, and Dough that doesn't taste good.

For Little Ceasar's you get what you pay for, it's cheap, and it tastes cheap. I'm fine with that. They use canned mushrooms, and some of their meat toppings are also extremely cheap. For $5, you can't complain.

Pizza Hut is horrible. Their bread really feels like it has been grown in some lab. Their new hand tossed pizza still tastes like it came out of a box, and their pizza remains one of the most greasy pizza's I've ever seen. Bad looking and bad for you. On the plus side, their marinara sauce on their pizza isn't so bad. It's just the rest of the pizza I can't tolerate too much.

Papa John's cheese just doesn't taste right. There's something about the texture, the way it tastes once it's baked, doesn't taste at all like 100% Mozzarella. Maybe they use some weird blend? Their bread is too rubbery on the bottom, and tasteless & dry at the edges.

Domino's Pizza has improved, their bread has improved, and the toppings have improved. That being said, their cheese also does not taste right to me, almost as if it's been too mixed with other cheeses or possibly skim? Their bread is rubbery like Papa John's now. All that extra greasy 'flavor' they brush on the crush and bread doesn't mask the tasteless bread.
----

My preference in Pizza's over $10: Crispy bread (on the bottom and edges), not rubbery. Easy on the cheese, give us whole 100% mozzarella.

I've personally never been fan of frozen pizzas or pizzas that are served at buffets.

bar NONE, CHICAGO has the best deep dish pizzas... and when it comes down to buying a pizza, NOTHING can take the place of a local pizzeria and NOT any of those s**thole pizzas that are sold either thru a famous franchise or the frozen ones that are sold thru the grocery stores...

Out of the choices in that poll I'll have to go with Pizza Hut, but the absolute worst pizza I've ever had was at a place called Me-n-Eds Pizzeria (it's a regional chain I think). It tasted like cardboard and was just awful.

Yep, it's kind of like a "pizza Subway" It's a fresh pizza, and they make it for you and you bake it yourself
I've never tried it. There isn't one near me, but I used to live in TN for two years, and they were just coming out with those right before I moved.

Is it any good?

I like it, just because you get a lot for what you pay for. It's definitely worth a try! Reminds me of homemade pizza

Unless you grew up with a neighborhood chain near you, those four places are interchangeable to you. One of the cheapest foods in existence that can feed multiple people?

Whenever I have the opportunity to go to Cali I want to try Pieology heard so many good things.

I always wonder if any pizzerias outside of Chicago ever try to do deep-dish, in fact are there any in New York that have tried to do it?

There's some in ATL that do deep dish. Not that bad. I like it.

It really depends on your oven. They use decent ingredients, and since it's not frozen, it tastes significantly better than the store variety.

If you have a decent oven, I would definitely recommend it.

I don't know if i have had papa johns before but i don't think littler sizzers is that bad like some people say i think it is pretty good acctruley. Round table is my favorite.

Pizza Hut and Papa John's are about on par. They're mediocre.

Domino's is just bad.

But at least the above are edible (though Domino's is pushing it). Little Caesars is worse than the pizza you find in gas stations.

lmao

Agreed 100 percent.

IMO, Most restaurant pizza is better than any store bought frozen pizza.

Chuck E. Cheese pizza. Look at it. LOOK AT IT!! If you have ever fed your child this and thought it was harmless, hang your head in shame!!!

The mascot is a RAT. Think about that folks.

"Gah, this pizza is terrible. Better than nothing, I guess."

"Dude, where did you even get that? We don't sell food at this gas station."
