When they were together, there was a rumor that Ben Afleck and Jennifer Lopez were going to remake that movie. Had it happened: Any doubt that it would have been the worst remake ever?

Remakes fail when they try to remake or imiate the original, it's better when you reimagine something becuase then there's a damn good possibility your going fall flat on your face, but then again that's the only time art is ever worth a damn Anyway I'm not the kind of guy to simply dismiss something, if a Casablanca remake ever happened, I'd give it a shot first.

Both Bale and Cuthbert are pretty boy/girl types that are highly overrated.

I also meant that you would like any movie they star in no matter how crappy it is.

Bale is NOT overrated. It may be true that there are some fanboys on this site that worship him and praise him, but generally it's accepted in the acting community and the general population of the world that he's simply a very good actor who has played a good range of characters.

Cuthbert isn't really overrated either... the majority of people who want to see her cast in various movies are doing so simply because they think she's sexy or beautiful, which of course is a matter of opinion... but trust me, it has nothing to do with her acting ability. Whether she's a good actress or not I really can't say yet (haven't seen her in much) but I can say without a shadow of a doubt that most of her devotees her and elsewhere couldn't care less about her acting ability.
