Worst T.V. Series Finales

The first series finale for Seven Heaven:cmad:

Everybody's pregnant!! Not to mention the stupidity of Jessica Biel appearing in the finale; she doesn't show up for Simon's real wedding, but she shows up in a dream sequence involving Simon's wedding!!

Not that I remember it, but hearing about how St. Elsewhere ended always makes me chuggle!! The whole show was the dream of some autistic child. Is there nothing more poignant than that?!

now, I never watched St. Elsewhere, but the thought of finding out that all the stuff I've been invested in never happened, never existed... I'd be pretty pissed off.

it's, in a way, kinda like the Clone Saga.

brimstone and point pleasant..i want more

Seinfeld's another one where I don't understand the hate. I thought it was brilliant. I know most people will claim it was no different than a clipshow, I think the context in which all these characters were re-introduces is what made it so great. Usually clipshow episodes of a series are meant to have characters reflect on things happily, and for the most part, it's fairly innocuous. With the Seinfeld finale, one, they don't pad the episode with past footage like a traditional clipshow, and two, it's used to reflect badly on them. I refuse to believe the people who watched Seinfeld during its run have never thought, "eventually, these people need to get theirs." I know I had. Yeah, they had their losses throughout the show, but when things worked out for them, it was usually at someone's expense, and that someone didn't deserve it.
I loved the Seinfeld finale. I thought the concept was brillant: the four being judged for all the selfish things they did...

I forget what show did it. It was an otherwise forgetable show about a pilot and his housekeeper and his kids or some crap like that. But the finale is him at the airport, and the housekeeeper kisses him and says "I'll see you when you get back" and he says the cliched "I'm not coming back" and then follows it up with "WE'VE BEEN CANCELED! BYE!"

I think you mean Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsens "Two of a Kind" which I admit I used to watch when it was on TGIF.

I have to say that the Sopronos ending is one of the worst. I never saw the show due not having HBO but it just seems lazy even though it was an ending. Just going to black is an ending but not a way to end a show just leaving people going "What the hell, is my cable out?"

Yeah it was horrible. And didn't like everybody like have miscarriages too?

i wanted more point pleasant too. I mean what happened?

Fox didn't give into the scare tactic of having cliffhangers?

Or was it on the WB? Or is it called the CW? Wait... UPN?

Fox NEVER gives into the scare tactic of cliffhangers.

That's silly, they got their just desserts at the end of every episode.

Anyone think Stargate SG1 should go up there?

No. It wasn't the finale I was expecting, but it was a good episode. And a pretty good ending.

Besides, the real finale will be the movie.

Technically that is the TV series finale. Follow up movie would go under the title of movie.

Playmakers.... how do you not make a second season to that? ESPN went with Tilt afterwards.... we know how that wentl... way to go ESPN... way to go...

I heard it had something to do with the NFL. NFL didn't like it and left ESPN with an ultimatum. Drop the show or lose viewing rights to Sunday Night football games.

There's a big difference between not getting what you want on a trivial level, and being tried and convicted and sent to prison for "depraved indifference".

I'm surprised no one mentioned the series finale of Roseanne. You find out the last few seasons, or probably the whole show, was just part of Roseanne's imagination for her writing.

And a lot of people didn't like the last episode of The Wonder Years.

No one? Me and wieg (?) discussed it on the first or second page.

King of Queens was pretty bad, I didn't like it at all (Doug and Carrie had kids and arthur moved back in then it ended).

the more i think about it, sopranos is actually pretty good.

How about Frasier? Was that a setup for another sequel series, or what? How about "Frasier Goes To Chicago"?

I never saw the end of Frasier. I loved that show, but the last two or three season I just stopped watching it. I don't even know why :(
