Dick Grayson isn't angry. Nightwing is bitter towards Batman but he is very fun and energetic, even as Batman. When he took up the mantle he switched roles with Robin. Damian was the hardcore, lovable prick and Bats was the fun hero. WOW ! IT HIT ME ! Could Superman or Lex "kill" or make Batman go away by the end of the film and force Nightwing to be Batman ? Far fetched ? too soon ? maybe.

To not think there would be some level of frustration is to not add human emotion to the character. The emotions he'd be going through with wanting to break out on his own, to leave the man who's been training him knowing that you're the first partner he's ever had would be a very difficult thing to do. It's not like him and Bruce set up a date that he was going to "move out". There should be a tone of frustration/anger if he is starting out as Robin and going into Nightwing.

He's only 31. And looking up recent pictures, I think he's got the perfect look for old robin/young nightwing.

Which is too old, and he looks older than his age too. He's also built like a brick friggin wall, a joke that's often made on Supernatural.

I think my making a guy who's 31 look 28 is a little easier than making a "40 ish" year old is a little easier; but if that's their choice for actor, bring it on lol.

Tom Sturridge (The Boat That Rocked & On The Road) was my old pick for Grayson before he turned into a hippy .

Sturridge was Tony nominated for his role in the play he did with Alec Baldwin and Ben Forster.

Well if we use Affleck's age as a guide and go 5 years in either direction, he could be between 36-46.

I just read his reaction to the casting news. It was pretty *****ey. Same with Stephen Amell (not quite as much as Padalecki's though). Still, why have so much animosity toward something you haven't seen yet? Puzzles me.
