Right, my mistake for not spotting the obvious light-heartedness of your post. Whatever was I thinking?
I don't think anyone wants to see a good Dick/Bruce relationship more than me, but is this film really the place to have it?No one knows yet for sure. I hope he is, it would be interesting to see Batman interacting with him and what type of chemistry they'd have.
I can't get excited to see Dick in this movie.
Not sure if I personally prefer Robin over Nightwing in this.
But they could let this film include the point where Dick leaves Bruce to fight crime of his own
I don't really want to see him in this. I'm not opposed to doing the Robin/Nightwing storyline, just not in this movie. Save it for a solo Batman film.
No matter how hard I try, I can't get excited to see Dick in this movie.
I really liked how they had him laugh as a kid on that show. Especially, when he was hiding and letting the echo freak people out...

But I think there's enough space for Dick to fit right in.
You know what, that's a good point. If Dick isn't wanted there, he shouldn't intrude. It's possible, but you don't want to squeeze Dick in there if it's not wanted. It could just feel forced. Dick should be inserted at the appropriate time.
It had me wondering if it was going to tie into the Joker in some way. I'm glad they didn't go that route. I agree, great touch having him laugh. Adds that playfulness to his character.
