BvS Would Richard Grayson be part of this movie?

Grayson is one of the few characters who can fit into the story without taking anything away. He requires little introduction. I'd argue that Grayson has more of a right to be in a Batman/Superman movie than Gordon does.

If Alfred is in this, I don't see why Grayson can't be in it either...

We deserve some Dick...

After that cock, Robin John Blake :o

Yeah I want Nightwing to appear in the solo Batman film. Maybe they will give a shout out in DOJ. Something like him no taking Bruce's calls or something.

When they first dropped that ROBIN easter egg in The Dark Knight Rises, I was ecstatic. But now that I've had time to let it sink in, it just makes me sad and angry. Blake should've just gone by Dick Grayson the whole movie

It was Nolan's sly way of giving us Robin, which actually giving us "Robin". If he had of been called Dick Grayson, then fans would have complained about there being no costume and stuff. So, he played it cool, but slyly.

That Robin thing gets taken WAY WAY too seriously, he was John Blake, not Jason Todd, not Dick Grayson and not Tim Drake. The Robin thing was just to get that reaction from the audience in a way no other name would.

Fair enough

As long as they don't keep his appearance in costume a brief cameo

Lol Rod i realize that :oldrazz:!

I want a proper Dick Grayson, but I wouldn't have minded if Blake's character was named Grayson. He's a good blend of all the different Robins.

He was a combination of all three Robins. Dick (cop), Jason (similar way parents died), Tim (similar way of finding out Bruce is Batman).

I know that, but he still wasn't any of them.

I don't even consider him Robin he's John Blake a made up character for the film.

His name was John Blake and had a secret identity of Robin.

How do you feel about David Banner from the Hulk TV Series?

I've always thought in regards to the Robins' existence and Bruce's arc would be best as being:

Weary from Jason's death
Estranged from Grayson
Then BVS happens
Superman teaches him to not be alone
He calls Dick to reconnect
Tim easter egg

Dude that's perfect. Dick probably works best as Nightwing. But if there is a solo Batfilm, i hope they play up the parallels between Dick and Bruce ala Dark Victory.

And yeah that reflects my favorite era of Batman comics. Jason is dead, Dick is Nightwing and Tim is Robin.

Tim and Dick are the definitive Robins for me. Damian Wayne is awesome, i still prefer Tim though.

Tim doesn't get enough credit. He headlined an awesome series of his own,was a major character in Young Justice AND Teen Titans, AND had a big part in Detective Comics/Batman in the 90s/2000s.

What they've done to Tim/the Titans in the New 52 is a bit of a disgrace IMO.

I'm just going to throw him out there. Not sure if he fits a young John Hawkes in terms of looks, but certainly in terms of acting. He looks to be fantastic in Unbroken and his American accent is top notch. He really is one of the best up and comers.

Seems like a solid pick. More so for Jason Todd especially.

Plus, he was in 300 Rise of An Empire, a Snyder production (just like Callan Mulvey.)

It's well past time for them to introduce the general audience to a proper Dick. There's so much potential in the character that none of them, and a lot of us haven't seen yet.

If they ever introduce Dick I want a flashback so they can give us a visual like this, love the parallel it draws with Bruce.

Batman Forever isn't perfect, but the way they handled the death of Robin's parents was pretty decent

I wish they'd make a Nightwing stand-alone film, with Bruce/Bats as a supporting character.

I could definitely see him as Jason, more so than Dick. But with this new film, he's tackling a more noble and heroic character. So he does have the potential for either character.

And he's a bloody good actor lol
Turning into one of my favourites.

There are rumours Nightwing will appear in Arrow. If so, I hope they use the same actor if Dick is in the film. Be a great way to tie up the DC universe without having to bring one of the trinity into a TV show.

Yeah, I'd like to see Arrow and Batman use the same Dick.
