Now that that's out of the way, maybe you can also enlighten me on what real-world material can mimic the immaterial? I feel like I'm in a foreign place or something with how such a simple concept can't be understood. Light cannot be physically replicated in costume form. You can use any material in the world, and all cg-enhancing would do is to erase what you put into the equation in the first place. There's absolutely no need to add another variable in there. The artists need to work on the rendering, as 100% of the suit essentially exists in virtual form.But it's a movie though. It's not like they used real satanic skin for Hellboy's make-up.
