Sequels Would you change Spidey's costume???

Its okay. (Or so you think :cwink: ) I wonder if they put Carnage in the next one, will they screw up his costume too.....
well since they made Venom small... maybe they'll make Carnage huge:whatever:

I think this should have happend:

1. Sandman could have been removed for more time for venom

2. Venom could have been removed for a better Sandman
I myself would pick 2. I would have saved him for a part as a villain in the fourth film.

I totally agree. Should have had 3 end with Pete freeing himself and brock being consumed, then concluding Sandman/ Harry fight. CLose with Brock rising from church floor as Venom. Would have made for an awesome set up for 4th one

Yeah, it was what I thought they would do way back when the leaked trailer was online. I think that it would have made a great cliffhanger.

It's just about perfect IMO. But if they are to go for a small different style, I'd say one like Ross's drawings like in the opening credits.

I don't think anyone here says or thinks it is bad. I would like to (IMO so don't shoot me) darker reds and blues and get rid of the raised webbing. I would like to see black webbing silk screened directly to the fabric. The raised webbing is and has been my only gripe since SM1. :spidey:

Thats were that pic of me in New York being Spidey went! :D

I wonder how many people still think its TMags wearing the costume in thaat above pic?

Why wouldn't he be the one wearing the costume? He isn't doing any stunts at that moment so I'm pretty sure it's him.

How many people would like to see the Electro-proof suit if Electro is in the fourth movie?

Those concepts are a waste of time and ink. Steve Ditko's design that has been captured perfectly in the comics is flawless and should forever be used, with minor tweaks here and there for subtle differences.

Guys, not counting the minor changes here and there, and the alternate costumes which he ALWAYS gets rid of... this outfit has stayed the same since the 60's.

It's not changing.
I'll admit seeing the Electro outfit would be nice, maybe the armor (silver and black, not the Stark crap), tho that'd be a bit of a stretch. It was even in the issue that had it.

I hope for the next film they go back to using the version of the costume he wore in the second film. I prefered it to the Red & Blues he wore in SM3.

My only real issue with the movie costume isn't with the costume itself, it's that all the promotional materials, toys, w/e, seem to think that since the black webbing is reflective, Spidey's webs are white.
They're BLACK.

One thing they do change a bit each time is the lenses. Not the size that I can see, but what's in the white portion. They're just flat white in the original, then they are textured and slightly tinted in SM2, especially in some of the CGI close-up shots (first time his webs don't work). They look similar to that in 3, but they were different. I forget exactly how.

I wouldn't change the shape really, but I always did like how Scarlet Spider's lenses had a different shape. It was kind of like the one they're using, but larger and the smaller 'nose edge' was longer and more curved.

There were many variations of course, but there's some cool eye designs out there which would be fun if they ever go down that road.

What WOULD Scarlet's outfit look like, if done by these guys? Hmmm.
Following Raimi's path so far, it'd prolly be an all-red version of that web-kink-suit posted above.

Actually, Venom wasn't very small at all...he was still bigger in size than Spidey, and even if he wasn't steroid-size huge like in the comics; Venom was shown as he mostly was in the earlier days.

yes i HATE how only the symbol seems to be black all the time, it looks pretty dumb

you might want to check out the first issues then, because Venom was about twice the size of spidey
