I think scienticially. This is the ultimate exploration. I don't want to be anally probed, dissected, or whisked away to another planet never to return. I merely want to see one, and I'm extremely curious about the possible cultural differences or discoveries the aliens have made. I'm curious about what technological advancements are possible. I'm curious about any religous beliefs they might have.

Was Charles Darwin insane? Or was he a curious scientist? Are astronauts insane? Every single one of them would most likely make the same choice I would. That's why they are Astronauts. You should really expand your imagination, because your coming off as closed right now.

You spelled "scientifically" wrong. :o But I see what you mean. Yes, it would be interesting to see what could be learned from ETs, but from what we've heard (assuming "abductees" are telling the truth) the aliens are more interested in studying us than in letting us study them.

You spelled "scientifically" wrong, and I double posted. I consider myself humbled. :o

We really have no way of knowing if the people who claim to have been abducted are telling the truth. I imagine that if they really didn't want us to know they were abducting people, we'd have never heard about it.

Not to mention how many times do you think they are going to do this? With their technology they would probably have gotten everything they could about our physical bodies a long time ago. The need for abduction wouldn't exist after the first 10,000. And why not abduct just a couple and then grow them for study? Why go through all the trouble. They would probably choose a different method for studying us. Such as medical documents for example.

Not to mention who says the species that would abduct me is the same species as the one doing all the anal probes?

If you had the chance to be abducted by Aliens, would you choose to do so? You don't know anything ahead of time about what they look like or how they will treat you. All you know is you will be taken aboard an alien spaceship. I want to be abducted really bad, and I mean like really bad.

Yes, I would not mind being abducted by aliens. It's possible that they would genetically manipulate you in such a way as to give you abilities, or to make you immortal or stay young.

It's also possible that you might be imbued with greater intellect than you already possess and/or be taken to other places. You might have the opportunity to gain great knowledge from an abduction.

There's always the possibility that they might kill and eat you. Either way a positive experience or a negative one is 50/50. Those are fair odds.

it depends on what type of alien is doing the abducting. if it's the grays, then hell no....they like to slaughter and disect humans. if it's the Pleiadians then hell yeah...they're all about educating their 'guests'.

Anal Probes are Aliens ways of saying hello. It like our hand shake

If I don't know how I will be treated then NO.
If I knew they would treat me well and I could take my family with me then YES.

I think Spider-Bite is the reason we still let kidnappers back out of jail.

What are the odds that our DNA would be compatible for reproduction with an alien species? :whatever: Sometimes the movie's got it right, and other times they got it wrong. Not to mention from an evolution perspective an alein species that is intelligent enough to screw in a light bulb is not resemble a gigantic beast. yeah it will look creepy and scary, but it's body will not be a huge weapon and it's head will not be a weapon either.

If it's head was a weapon it would not be bipedal, and intelligence would involve hand in hand with two free limbs, which means an intelligent species would almost have to stand erect.

A big huge Venom like jaw would only be on an animal that walks on all four, because it would make more sense for that part of it's body to stick out in front to attack and counter attack easier. It owuld be pointless to have something like that on a pair of shoulders on something that stands upright.

If I can remember correctly, the "Aliens" from that movie were actually bio-engineered "soldiers" by another alien species, then they turned on them.

Anyways, does anybody remember that guy from the 50s who claimed he was from Venus? He was all over the news...can't remember the story.
