I just HOPE they don´t do the ultimate spiderman thing where harry is venom

 

Not a fan of Ultimate Eddie Brock Jr/Venom.

 

Hope there isn't so much a sniff of Venom in the new trilogy.

 

Tom Hardy for Eddie Brock. Dane isn't big enough.

 

Tom Hardy should not play Brock either, imo.

 

I like the Eddie Brock suggestion lots of people have posted before. Can't remember his name though. Ackles, something?

Maybe whenever Supernatural ends, because I definitely don't want Jensen to get a role that'll mess up his role as Dean.

 

Call me old school but I prefer Venom/Brock be big and muscular to contrast physically with Spider-man.

 

Anyone can add muscle to play as Eddie Brock. In S-M 3's case, Topher should've added more, but even then, he wasn't good enough to act as Eddie Brock.

 

There's a difference between toning up (which anyone can do) and adding enough mass and muscle to look like a pro wrestler (impossible for most skinny guys).

 

Eddie does not need to look like a "pro wrestler" either.

 

Huh? How do you know it's going to be all "ohai best friend I haven't seen in years"?

I doubt it's going to be like that, they'll probably have Harry as a new transfer to Peter's school or something.

 

Yeah, Eddie to look like a pro wrestler would look stupid.

A Bane sized Eddie would look stupid. That's more the size I'd want Venom to have.

 

Or maybe even if Peter graduates and goes to college, he'll meet him there.

(It's a little confusing for me, the education system is a little different in the UK)

 

Tom Hardy as Bane sized Eddie would look fine though, imo.

 

Tom Hardy doesn't really strike as the Eddie Brock type, the look and even his voice is wrong

 

Eddie in the very original comics did look pretty damn muscular, but Tom's face is wrong for the part

 

I didn't say Tom Hardy should be Eddie Brock. Only referencing his size as Bane in TDKR.

 

I think Eddie should be very well built. You should see that he goes to the gym. But it would really look dumb if he'd be Bane big if you ask me, running around with that camera. That's the size he should get as Venom. Would be perfect IMO.

 

Brock will forever be etched in my mind like the bodybuilding type like in TAS and SSM, not Dane.

 

Hardy's Bane never looked the "bodybuilder" type though. I could see the same work with Eddie Brock if he ever showed up again.

 

Though, if this series doesn't have Venom (and I really think it wont) does it need Eddie Brock?

 

No way. Garret Hedlund as Brock. Dane is a prrtty damn perfect Harry.
