Wow, so I got nominated for a local theatre award.

I was in a local community theatre production over the summer this year, and I just heard over this weekend, and confirmed for myself today, that I was nominated for a local theatre award for my performance.

It's not a huge deal or anything, even a couple people I've spoken to about it who were nominated themselves were like "it's just a popularity contest", and since I'm relatively unknown, I don't really have any votes. But still, there have been some pretty impressive actors who gave some pretty damn good performances this year that I got nominated over.

I played Craig in a production of Hidden In This Picture.

No, I actually do theatre at my university. This particular show is just something that I did over the summer while school was out, but I'm actually really heavily involved in my school's theatre department. Been doing it for a couple years now. This particular show that I got nominated for was my first venture into theatre outside of my college.
