Another hilarious episode of z! true long island story with the newly undisputed internet champion . I loved how he poked fun at wwe's factoids( that might put him the doghouse though).

So, I hear that Chris Sabin was injured because his green opponent wasn't properly positioned...seems like a pattern for TNA...hire guys that have no business sweeping the floors after a wrestling match, having the talent working with them get hurt, forget the whole thing happened.

This Mexican America thing sucks anyway. Look, you had LAX...you didnt care...a very, very poor copy will not fool anyone.

Zack Ryder is proof positive that writers aren't needed. His show which always runs under 10 minutes is more entertaining than most of the backstage segments on raw. If Santino can can get two IC Title reigns, I see no reason why Zack Ryder can't have a strong midcard presence.

I honestly can't see the crowd ever getting behind either of those two.

Swagger should stay heel , I agree. Also it would be interesting if Cole was his manager and left the announce desk.

Miz is defined by being a heel but if they could pull off a face turn it would be interesting. He would never reach heights of Orton or Cena in popularity and it would take awhile but I think there's a possibility.

Most if not all broski

One thing I think could work in Miz's favor as a face is with his wrestling style he could play a good underdog. Right now as a heel it's hard to buy him beating any top tier faces, even with cheating. As a face he'd use the fact that he can rarely dominate anyone to play the scrappy, underdog type character. I think it would be a breath of fresh air when compared to the HHH/Orton/Cena types of dominant invincible babyfaces.

In time, no sooner than another year or two maybe, I think it could work.

The problem with Miz is that his gimmick really works best...and potential only successfully works AT ALL, if he's got something to brag about. The US Title, the Slammy, the MITB briefcase, the World Title...without SOMETHING to boost him, I feel like the writers will quickly get stuck, and then move him to the "frustrated, whiny heel is on a massive losing streak and acting like a baby" that will kill all the work that's gone into his character.

Angle was actually funny in his early heel run though. And he could talk. Meaning he was entertaining. Swagger is lacking both of those traits. Angle almost always had the tools to work as a strong babyface.

And while Swagger is a beast Angle was a friggin machine. He picked up the in ring part of it scary fast and when he was in their being led by a good worker early on he could hang nose to nose (or in one particular case nose to GIGANTIC nose) with anyone.

Like I said Swagger is a great athlete but he hasn't often displayed Angles gifts or at least he hasn't been allowed to. He's got to learn to talk better and sound strong on the mic though.

As for The Miz

Miz is a *****ebag heel. Thats the very core of his act. Like Sage said he doesn't have the gifts to be the cool heel to cool babyface like the ROck or badass heel to badass babyface like HHH. He also doesn't have the in ring skill thats gotten many over as babyfaces.

They'd have to radically rethink some elements of his character. Could he be just as annoying and work as a face at all? His entire thing has been to rub it in peoples faces who said he'd never make it. *****ebag heel.

Miz' heel run reminds me so much of Jericho's early heel runs when he first came to WWF. Hiding behind body guards and the like. Jericho was the epitome of *****e bag heel, and made the face transition rather well.

I could see Miz doing the same.

Many people like that become obsessive if they've got nothing to brag about, so him losing the title could make him into a more desperate character and may be the right way to go to make him look more "legit" as some have said.

I still can't really buy into the Miz. It feels like what it would be like if WCW gave Disco Inferno the ball.

I disagree. When he loses the title, he can become the whiny, arrogant heel who feels he was robbed and a victim of injustice, etc.

Owen Hart did this character the best: Miz has about 1/10th of Owen's wrestling ability, but he can at least get the character right.

He's as low as it gets honestly. Not like there gonna stop any momentum his has on TV seeing as he rarely gets a match beyond "Superstars" show

Top Heel on Smackdown.

Jericho is one of the best heels in WWE history. Bit i gotta say, i kinda like his "Face" phase quite a bit.

But Christian and Orton need Jericho to feud. Or maybe will see a heel Orton in the near future?

I'd wager Christian would turn hell before Orton.

Shortly after Smackdown was taped on Tuesday, edits were made to the show to reflect Michelle McCool vs. Layla El now being a "Loser Leaves WWE" match as opposed to "Loser Leaves Smackdown."
In asking around today, the word was that McCool, who's been the top heel Diva for some time, was finishing up with the company.

Hmmm. I would figure that they would get rid of Layla before Michelle because of the Undertaker connection. If Michelle moves on I really don't care much. It's not like she's all that attractive like Layla, and her matches aren't spectacular. Layla is the only diva with some real meat on her bones, so I'm glad it's not her for now.

Holy crap!McCool gone after all that work invested in her.Not that I'm complaining.

There have been a lot of rumors about lawsuits involving the TNA of late. To the best of my research, I can find no evidence that any current or former talents have filed any legal action against the company, beyond former TNA Knockout Daffney. With that said, there are several suits involving the company ongoing, including one where the company is the plaintiff, which I'll write about once I have a chance to read through the cases, but none of them are talent-related.

Jericho is awesome as both a face and a heel...But Smackdown! definitely needs a top heel right now.
