This is a continuation thread, the old thread is [split]472719[/split]
as long as I can continue my tradition of playing the new WWE game on Thanksgiving, I'll be happy............
also, how many here have played every game in this series since the very first Smackdown game on the PS1?
Heh, I've been playing since WWF Warzone.![]()
I've damn near played every wrestling game there is to play. From the WCW games to ECW to Fire Pro to WWF/E to even Backyard Wrestling 1 & 2. I actually still own that dull TNA game from a couple of years ago haha.
Yeah, I think it was WCW Mayhem 2.
This is a bit off topic, but apparently NBA 2K15 will allow players to use the Kinect and PS Eye to scan their faces into the game for the current gen versions or NBA 2K15. That'd be cool if the WWE 2K series were to use that feature at some point.
oh, really??
ah.....what could have been........
this may sound weird, but sometimes in my dreams, I find myself searching or "discovering" a wrestling game I never knew existed, and it usually involves the WCW.
i'd imagine that will be a feature in future installments.
doesn't EA already do that in the Madden games? or was that in the recent UFC game?
Same with WCW's, like, 10th reboot with The Big Bang.
Yea just from reading some of the NBA 2K15 forums, this technology theyre using has been exciting the other devs within the studio. So most think it will come to the WWE series eventually.
They had it in Madden 2013 I think and its used in the current FIFA and UFC game, but its done through a web app, not through the PS Eye or the Kinect.
so you dream about WCW games, too?? lol
Actually, this was supposed to be a PPV in May that would once again reboot the company under Eric Bischoff. I still have the WCW magazine that has the ad in it.
wait.....they were considering doing that in real life??![]()
I liked the Genesis version better. Granted the SNES version looked better, but at least with the Genesis one you could do finishers. My first wrestling game was WWF Super Wrestlemania on the SNES. My grandma bought it for me at a Toys R Us for getting good grades I believe. I still don't quite understand the grappling system in that game...I feel like there wasn't a system at all and it was just button mashing.
The official gameplay trailer will debut this Monday morning on IGN!
